Great service and very good for the price. Lived in the area for less then a year and it was a great experenenc. When I was leaving some nutter was very rude to the guy who dealt with me and he kept bring religion into it like it would give him a better deal. Bad tact if you ask me. Pretty sure these bad reviews are from such more often then not.

I have used this place three times now and I am very impressed so far. In the past I used another place and by luck a friend of mine recommend this place and he was correct about everything he said.

As soon as I pulled up the guy hit his clipboard on my fender and said “we can’t do it this is too low.” The guy never made eye contact with me and just walked away. I’ll never go back.

Having taken multiple vehicles to JR’s Auto Repair over the years it goes without saying that I have been pleased with their work. However, the customer service that I have experienced is terrible. When approached by a customer with a problem or concern the owner always acts as if you are bothering him and he has no time for you. He is very unreasonable and hard to deal with. In fact, the last time my car was there for a repair he actually used profanity while speaking with my husband about a concern. You should not ever treat customers that way! This is why I will no longer have any vehicle serviced at JR’s Auto Repair.

They done alignment on my car and they did the work for half the price Sam Sneed wanted.plus JRs done four wheel alignment,SS was just going to do front tires !!! JR is the best place and best prices .

The ONLY place in Bristol you should be getting an alignment at IMO. Saved me a new set of tires after King's eff'ed up my front end by just setting it to factory.

Lived here in Tennessee for little over a year now. Moved down from my home state of Ohio. Where I have all my mechanic friends or the shop i would take my car for all sorts of things. So moving somewhere ..where you dont know anyone was scary. So when it came time for my car to be worked oni am thinking"Who do i call???" I googled several auto places and then i came across a review about this mans wife was traveling from out of state and how well she was treated. So, i thought i would give it a shot. They repaired my latch on my door because it wouldnt stay shut. The owner and all the gentleman there were kind to me. The price was exactly what they quoted me. The owner even showed me what was exactly wrong and how the part is supposed to work and he has done this with anything i have had to have repaired. Since then i have had a sway bar fixed and fuel pump and lines fixed. They are willing to work you in and the prices are fair! I have recommended them to my son who has recently moved down here also. And i will continue to recommend them! Thank you, Jr's for your hardwork and fairness.

I took my truck to them to fix the air conditioning. They told me it would be a thousing dollars "cash" ( guess they were avoiding paying tax). We had worked with them on numerous other occasions so while the price was high we thought the work would be quality and the parts would be too. JR'S mechanic sold us on the idea of spending so much by telling us that it would be special ordered "quality" parts not over the counter from advance or auto zone. As my husband was dropping off the truck he heard the other guy say I will run next door to advance and get the compressor for this truckmy husband was livid at that point but at least the work would still be quality so he got into the van and did not say anything about what he had heard. Three days later my husband is driving and no air!!!! We call, because they "warranted" their work for 3 months and parts for a year. "Well sir, we cannot warrantee parts that we already in the truck and that is the evaporator core leaking" we asked for a price to fix the air to begin with and were told that it would be 1000.00 and that would most assuredly fix it. So guess what JR says now? " it will be 400.00 more to fix the evaporator core. But being a nice guy he will take 100.00 off for labor. I hang up and consider it. I decide to call advance and get the price for parts since that is what he say he is charging for and throwing labor in for free. Drum rollthe part costs 89.98. He is a thief and a con man. It does not suprise me that he has good reviews because I would have given him rave reviews until now. He works your confidence in him and his establishment up before he takes you for 1000.00 or more!!!!

While looking at my receipt I get jumped and yelled at for not trusting them. The man was literally fighting mad and took it out on me! I just wanted to see the work that had been done to my vehicle. I was actually pleased to get my truck fixed but was told by owner to get my s#%= and leave and never come back. Never been talked to like that. I was taken by complete surprise. The man must have some personal problems or something. No one deserves to be treated that way. I guess you are just expected to pay your bill and not look at your receipt? Who does that? Very disappointed and mad. Not a good place at all!
