First of all, this hotel is one of the worst hotels to book and stay. The pictures from the website looks deceiving and it was. My friends and I booked two rooms for a bachelorette party this past weekend. The rooms were just okay but the floors needed some serious cleaning because we couldn't even walk around bare footed. We had to wear sandals or slippers in our hotel rooms so our feet wouldn't get filthy dirty. But anyways, the party went on. As we were coming back late from a club to the hotel in an uber car, not even a second getting out of car and being very quiet, a lady who happens to be an employee of the hotel comes walking towards us and starts yelling at us. She was yelling "You guys are being too loud!!!!" We looked at each other and ignored her and started walking back to our hotel rooms. She then proceeded to follow us and harrass us about how loud we were when she was the one disturbing the peace. My friend said to her in a calm voice "Ma'am? We are not disturbing the peace. We are simply going back to our hotel rooms." Then the lady decided to take matters into her own hands and started yelling at us and threatening us and continue to follow us to our hotel rooms. She said things like "I'm going to charge you a big fee!!! Im going to kick you out of these rooms!" So we got into our rooms and shut the door in her face and she then proceeded to bang on the door. To me, she was unprofessional, had an attitude and took the situation to a whole new level when she should have told her supervisor the issue. After a few hours into settling down into our rooms, my friends went to the front desk to complain to the supervisor about that particular employee. He then asked with an attitude "Wellwhat do you want me to do about it?" My friends were appalled by the lack of discipline and professionalism of the whole entire hotel staff, especially one in particular. I am only going to rate this hotel a one because it's not worth it. There's better quality hotels than this one.

2.9 rating came from my answers? I think it's way to nice I will give it a 1.1 This was our 1st time In Palm spring, wanted to do a Anniversary one day get away and it was the WORSE experience ever, the place from the start at front desk was such a bad vibe, we were told we can't use big pool till after 5 PM that a party had booked it, when we got to the room it was such a dirty, outdated small room, we tried to look at the best of it, got ready for pool and went at 5:15, we were kicked out of the main pool, VERY embarrassing Security said Front lobby was wrong the pool was closed all day, we had to go to the very small, dirty full pool, water was so dirty, there was trash every where, fake eye lashes in water, basically disgusting, we called front desk and the guy with a VERY RUDE attitude, said well I guess I was wrong, you can get your money and get out now if you want. I MEAN AT THAT POINT WE ARE IN THE CITY it is 5:30/45 on A Saturday, that we wanted to RELEAX and have a good time on, we were basically FORCED IN to stay, we were not going to be looking around for another room, although I wanted to look in Hotels for the night or some, My husband asked to just go with it and NEVER come back to this place or recommend, time for shower and night out, water was cold for at least 30 minutes, bath tub was dirty had hairs from previous renter, very disgusting. the day before we got there I had found a lower price at a different website since it said price match I asked about it and they told me not with us go with who you booked. Over all RUINED our trip.
**pictures of the hotel VERY deceiving

I had stayed at the Ivy Palm Resort and I must say, It was FANTASTIC. When I walked in, this young guy behind the counter smiled and welcome me in the hotel lobby. His name was Breme. He was just adorable. It was refreshing. He checked me into my room, gave me the run down of the hotel/breakfest and some restaurants in Palm Springs. He suggested Lulu's, which I took his advice and I must say, the dinner there was just spectacular! Our bedroom (King) was also great! Comfortable bed, wifi worked great, everything worked. The heated pool was EVERYTHING! Next morning I came down for breakfest and Breme was behind the counter again and welcomed me with a good morning. Whoever hired this young guy, Your doing something right. That boy will go somewhere I hope I see him again when I visit Palm Springs again next month. He was just a gentlemen.

We rented a Suite with a Balcony. ..the room was very niceWe sat outside in the eveninglooked very tropical with the trees and pool whay made it nice that nite was the Birds singing and chirpingit was very romantic..My B.f & i decided to stay another nite..but told us that room we were in Was already reserved and if we wanted to stay they would give us a room on the other side..a lil smaller but it was nicethe only problem i had and made us feel somewhat rushed was the next morningmy b.f asked for late checkout ..so at 1pm was checkout time..the men at the check in at the front actually came and knocked on the door right when we were already done getting our last of our belongings. .He stood outside the door with a bag and stood there till we left out the door..then went in the room and started going thru the room and picking up..I thawt thats what housekeeping was forWe felt rushed and didnt feel comfortable after thatAfter we spend a good amount of money at their Hotel..if anything they should thank us and should of called the room instead of knocking and telling us they will charge another day if we didnt checkout then and therei looked at the time and it was only 1:03pm..checkout time was at 1pm.UNBELIEVABLE! !! Other then that situathen..it was nice..clean and staff we nice n polite👍

Like a older actress with some grandness left. The grounds with the older trees are beautiful; located in a quiet part of town near the tramway and on the "Buz" free trolley route for easy access downtown. Some rooms have been updated, our first had worn carpet, etc. We were upgraded to a room with balcony which was beautiful. Great staff. Thanks Real. Good value for the money.

Obviously the owner spent the money on all the exterior renovation as the hotel looks quiet nice from outside. But when we stepped in the room, we are quiet disappointed about the inside. The room is so dark and small and all the furnitures and TV looked from 1980's. If you book any chain.hotel such as best western for days inn, the room will look nicer than this one. But you only need to pay 80 bucks instead of $120 per night. The only good thing is the staff is friendly, helpful and efficient. So those stars are for the staff.
