  I had good experience with the people at Island Bike Shop. I had a jogging stroller that needed new intertubes and air and they fixed it the same day. It was worth the money for me because it saved me a lot of time and headache! I will definitely come back with any other bike needs. Thanks again!

  Stay away from this bike shop, try Bike Route or Western Bike instead. I called looking for bottom bracket bearings for my CH-46. It uses ¼” 11-ball retainer ring. The bike tech assured me they had them but told me to bring my old ones along. I had checked at Western and they told me they only had 9-ball but in multiple sizes, Bike Route told me they had the 11-ball. Island bike was on my way to my friends garage where I would service my bike. When I got to Island Bike and ask the Bike Tech for a pair of ¼” 11-ball retainer rings, he asks me for the old ones, there in the bike. Turns out he doesn’t have any 11-ball rings, he wanted to sell me 9-ball rings that would have the same diameter. They might work in an emergency but they’re not the same. Based on his response wouldn’t trust them to do any service work, they’ll likely use any part that might fit and most people wouldn’t know. Stay away for them.
