We enjoyed some time here in August and had a wonderful time. Interlaken is a very much lovely place to stay on the Yooper and enjoy nature. What we like is also the geographic Location and you can reach many places on the UP with reasonable driving with the family. What we miss is a longer summer on the UP :-)

We stayed in Interlaken resort late August 2017. The resort was an amazing experience. The cabin, beach, boats, play ground it's a cool place to spend your vacation. Mostly I would like to thank Mr. Martin the owner of the resort for his grand hospitality. I will prefer Interlaken only when ever I am visiting up north.

This is the UP. Its wild. Its where bugs live. Expect there to be bugs in the summer.
The cabins are rented by the week. Check in/out is Saturday. We stayed in the upper (newer) cabins. Simple cabin with everything we needed (pots, pans, charcoal & grill, coffee, towels, shampoo). They cooked a rib dinner for all of the cabins on Wednesday. We enjoyed the community campfire most evenings and went for a boat ride on our final night there. The kids loved the kids hot tub. And when they went to bed, we enjoyed the "adults only" hot tub.
All in all it was a relaxing weekend. We will be back again!!

We brought a huge group and they were very accommodating to our needs! 2 hot tubs, beautiful lake, boats and canoes and kayaks, and awesome lodging. Everything was great other than some cabins having ant problems. The hosts even had a fish fry for us one night!!!
