The Insel Haus was our honeymoon suite after a small wedding on the island. It was a beautiful location. Christa was an absolute delight, we are so thankful for her warmth and hospitality. Definitely an experience to remember!

Paradise! I was there during the last winter and it was wonderful. The winter up north is breathtaking. The house is so spacious and so many antiques are waiting to get discovered - and Shelby and Christa Newhouse telling the stories of every single piece.

The owners, Crista and Shelby, are very special people and made our stay wonderful. Their Bed and Breakfast has a beautiful setting overlooking Lake Huron and their accommodations are first class Comfortable,spacious and inviting. Crista's breakfast was better than any 5 star hotel I've ever stayed in. We would recommend Insel Haus unconditionally .
