Great for economy type stay. Love the staff. The pool is always clean and a good temp.
Enjoyed the hotel and the proximity to the lifts. Easy access to everything. Snowboarding was a blast and the instructors were good.
It was ok, a great place to rest your head. They didnt have a breakfast in the hotel but there was a place across the street that served food all day so that was convenient. Over all it was a little out dated but not bad at all. They had busses that would take you to the top of the world and stop at all of the places in between. Being at the bottom of the mountain it worked perfectly.
Stayed here 25 years ago this weekend and it was good. Went back to celebrate engagement anniversary and this place has really gine downhill. Almost like staying in a dorm. The Inn now houses a lot of work exchange students. Ice machines didn't work. Had to get front desk to get ice. Had to wait for exchange student to finish washing dishes in water fountain before we could get water. Wasn't the experience I thought this special weekend would be. Not sure I will stay here again.
Great place to Stay at Snowshoe. At the bottom of the mountain near stores and shops. Nice pool and decent rooms. Check to make sure your freezer is working before you put ice cream in it though :/
The housekeepers here do a phenomenal job! This is one of the cleanest places I have ever stayed!
Nice facility. Helpful workers
We only stayed one night, but I had no complaints. It was clean and quiet.
Continental breakfast was decent but could have used some fruit such as apples and/or bananas. Bed comfortable, shower good, refrigerator nice and clean but the rooms needs some remodeling. I did like the location.
The property really needs an update. Our first room smelled like mildew so they gave us another one that was better, but still smelled a little smoky. Free breakfast was a nice perk but they had only one trash can that filled up without being changed. It seems like this hotel is obsolete compared to all the newer ones on the mountain so it doesn't seem to be a priority for the resort.
My room was better than expected with the exception of the dated furniture and the tube tv. That was not a major issue. What was a little lacking was the Continental breakfast. It was kind of sparce. Other than that was the lack of WiFi in the rooms. That was a major issue for me. The only WiFi was near the lobby. I'm so used to having WiFi at my hotel stays it was like going back to the 90's.
Basic No Frills lodging and is beginning to get a little bit run-down although they do make an effort to keep it up. However, it is clean it is about half the price of accommodations at the top of the mountain if not cheaper. Staying at the bottom of the mountain is infinitely more pleasant on a bad night then being at the top. There are hot tubs in a heated swimming pool right in the building as opposed to a commute being required. And there's a shuttle bus that comes from the front door and we'll drop you off at cup run. For the price this would be my recommendation.
Good budget-friendly place. No frills and not too far from the slopes. Well-priced food across the street. If you are trying to keep cost down on your trip then I can recommend this, otherwise I'd stay up closer to the slopes if possible.
