Nice caves with some decent history. You can get to see some of the active formations through limestone. There is a section where it's complete dark and you don't even see your fingers with open eyes. A nice experience

Absolutely fantastic tour! Great place for adults and children of all ages to do something different in Hershey PA. The tour was fascinating and you would never assume such a vast cavern would exist here at first glance. Great place to visit if the weather doesn't work for Hershey Park.

This is so close to Hershey it would be a shame to miss out on for anyone. We went not too long after the Hershey Half Marathon. Parking is very good. The staff and tour guide (Jake) were exceptional and knowledgeable, not to mention very friendly. The cavern is comfortable and a light jacket or sweatshirt is recommended. I found no problems with the footing or paths inside the caverns and there is plenty of elbow room when in a group. If you are looking for something different to do when in Hershey then definitely check Indian Echo Caverns out.

Great place to explore with younger kids. The tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. Gift shop was large and varied and parking was readily available. Bring a sweatshirt or long sleeve jacket for everyone though, even if its 80 degrees outside. The caverns are quite cool once you get into them a ways.

Beautiful area and well maintained. Touring the caverns was super fun with our knowledgeable guide. Great family friendly activity. Unique items in the giftshop and opportunities to feed and interact with some farm animals.

We went on a rainy day as a quick plan B since it rainedit was well worth our time! It is a cute little area with plenty to do and a great place to have a picnic -when it's not raining ;-) There is a covered picnic area, playground, small petting zoo, and gem mill. Even the bathroom house was clean and updatedwhich is important when you have a toddler and tend to make several bathroom trips ;-)
Our tour guide was awesome, very upbeat and cheerful and the stories and history told we enjoyed :-) He was not pushy and allowed us to take our time to get some beautiful pictures.
Price is reasonable at $18 adult, $10 child 3 and up and the tour took us a good hour.

Loved visiting the caverns. Worth every penny. If you are military or veteran ask for the discount. Caverns can get a little tight and if your claustrophobic I recommend not doing the tour as some areas are rather tight.

That being said I recommend visiting the caverns if you are in the Hershey Park area.

My family and I went today to the cavern and was led by "Laura". Unlike the other tour guides who seemed upbeat and overall energetic, Laura does not seem to have the energy or enthusiasm as the rest. She is inconsiderate towards the people in her group and it felt like a class trip led by someone who doesnt enjoy their job anymore. I would highly recommend this place however it would be best led by someone younger and actually wants to be there.

First time I've been in a cavern and it was really cool. You'll have to duck at some points, I'm 6'4 and only had to duck through a few caverns so don't worry if you are kinda tall. Also we had a great tour guide.

It was a great place to explore it was breathtakingly beautiful. Somewhere I'd return to our tour guide was creative and there was so much to learn and I enjoyed that it was dog friendly and my little guy could go down there with me in my arms. I loved that it was a great price for the caverns and gem milling I found some great thing gems

The caverns are fascinating for folks who love to explore. You are only permitted to enter in groups that are guided by a tour guide. Prices: 18/adults 10/children Free/babies. There are a LOT of steps to access the cavern entrance/exit. You will get dripped on when inside, wear clothes that can get a bit dirty. Also, shoes that can get wet in puddles. They also have animals nearby that you are allowed to feed and pet. They also have a playground.

Really enjoyed our spur of the moment trip out here. The tour guide was fabulous, really funny and genuinely enjoyed talking about the cavern's history and ecosystem. The underground lakes were absolutely beautiful, and if I hadn't already gotten married I might have considered making the Wedding Chapel our nuptial location! Highly recommend visiting this natural wonder.
