We had the pleasure of reserving a suite overlooking Palm Canyon. This is the third year in a row that our group has stayed in a suite on the night of the Palm Springs Holiday Light Parade. The hotel is beautifully decorated, excellent service and very accommodating. Highly trained staff.

I had made a reservation at the Embassy Suites in Palm Desert, and was very disappointed.
I checked around on line, and for not much more, the Hyatt was available.
It was great! I actually hardly left the hotel. I had breakfast either at the restaurant, or down the block at bar/breakfast place.
I would relax by the very nice pool for a few hours, shower, and was at the hotel bar for Happy Hour. I met a variety of people, mostly locals, at the bar, and after a drink or two, I was going back to my room for the news and room service.
My entire stay was great. Decent food, lots of fun, and great service.

I've stayed at many Hyatt properties but the Palm Springs property didn't live up to my expectations. The beds were very comfortable, as always. The bathroom, however, was missing a plug in the bathtub. On closer inspection, there were long hairs under the plastic anti-slip mat & there was a visible ring in the tub. I usually like to take baths to relax at the end of the day, but this was unappealing. I called the front desk, but the man they sent up didn't know why he was there and had no cleaning supplies. In the end, it left me wondering how clean other parts of the room that hide dirt well (such as dark carpets, bedspreads) were. Given that rooms were listed at $300+ on the weekend night we were there, I expected more.

The room was lovely and very spacious with great views all around. The bed was very comfy and I slept like a baby. The pool area was well maintained and the pool itself was crystal clear clean. I love the fact that they have extensive pool hours (6am to 10pm)! We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be coming back.

Great location. Great staff. Nice pool. Large rooms. Aging building. Could be a fantastic property, but needs a significant investment to make it the gem it should be.

Cute hotel with nice rooms in the heart of downtown Palm Springs. I love this hotel! Extremely reasonable rates for a nice room in the best location in Palm Springs. Staff are incredibly courteous and efficient. Everything is within walking distance from this location. Their restaurant and spa services are exceptional. They occasionally have fun events held here. Absolutely a wonderful Palm Springs institution.

Staff is awesome. Staff is kind & accommodating. Hotel is overdue for renovation. Looks like room decor last updated when "Pretty Woman" came out. Very outdated & worn down hotel. Workout room was hot, limited A/C, blinds did not work. Great location. Elevator was under repair & the operating elevator temporarily broke down with people on board. Not good for those individuals stuck! Plenty of eating establishments with in walking distance. Beds were comfortable & sheets clean.

Six minute drive from the airport. It's right on a strip with loads of food. The pool was nice. Rooms have two TVs. A living room and bedroom. Has a fridge. Not a bad place to stay.

Beds were amazing and slept like a baby, with that said it wasn't up to par on the luxury front. AC wasn't cold, bugs from outside were in our room and we had to switch rooms at night. Location is perfect everything is walking distance and staff was friendly. Kids loved pool area and I loved the convenience of the location. I would stay again but I would make sure AC worked in room before bed..

Hotel is in terrible condition. This once beautiful 5 star hotel, is well past it's heyday. Time has not been well to this property. I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone; one star hotels in area are likely better destinations. Our room had a toilet the would randomly deliver waste products to out room. The hotel is in very poor repair, our room, lock fell off the door, wall paper is coming off, faucets leak, toilet in not functioning properly, flooring is damaged and possible unsafe, ceiling is covered with water drains or damage, lights don't light. Just unmaintained and very poor condition! Although the valet staff was accommodating, the service ends as soon as you walk through the door. Front desk clerk services guests out of order without explanation. Food service is painfully slow. All in all one of the worst hotels we have ever stayed at.

I loved it there. Had a junior suite. The bathroom was huge. Had a step up jacuzzi in the middle of the bathroom. The staff really were ex lent
You asked a question and they knew the answer and made sure you felt comfortable when you left
I would stay there again without thinking twice.

Nice quiet hotel in the heart of Palm Springs. Valets were always helpful and quick to bring the car around, and the staff generally friendly. Climate control needs to be fixed though - our room was crazy humid even with the AC turned up.

Also with check in already very late at 4PM, we were disappointed to arrive and the room still wasn't ready. We didn't get our room until 5 which delayed our music festival plans significantly. Their excuse was that they were busy. Well, yes it's Easter weekend. Staff accordingly so you can get people their rooms on time to avoid disrupting guest schedules!

Love the rooms here. I walked in and immediately see the sleeping area with two double beds. There's a window that looks out on the hallway that is reminiscent of a motel 6. But go a little further past the bathroom and there is a small living room area and a balcony that you can sit on. Very cool!! Rooms have a small coffee maker and fridge as well which makes it a perfect little setup.
