This was a very nice place for a small retreat! It was not far from the main roads, so it was easy to find and get to and the trees and lake all around made it feel secluded and natural. The facilities were small with a total of about 8 cabins with bunk beds and a community bathroom inside. There is also a lunch hall where food is served, and a cute chapel. The cabins are clean and functional, but not very comfortable. It had hard beds, thin mattresses, and community bathrooms with only curtains for doors.
The major perk of this place is that it is family friendly and secluded. The night time view of the stars from the lake was beautiful because there was no outside light. There was also a fire pit which was nice when it got cold. You could also travel a small trail in the woods if you wanted around the lake.
The food was ok. It was standard camp/cafeteria food. Nothing extravagant, but not bad. The family who own it are very nice and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place for a group of about 30-60 people who want to be out in nature.response / report this review -

Great place for retreats, the family that are the keepers are very sweet, loving and helpful. I will definitely consider this place for future activities
