Ridiculous wait time on more than one occasion.. Whether it is busy or not. Hard to keep my infant children occupied for over 2 hours to only be seen by the doctor for 10 minutes at best.

Went in knowing I had a bacterial infection. The DR refused to culture it bc it was an initial visit, instead making me wait an additional 2 weeks for a new appointment. Came back 2 weeks later and it was cultured. 4 days later results came back positive. I was told a prescription would be called in. Went to the pharmacy 1.5hrs later and prescription was not called in. Called the office and they said it would be called in within a few minutes. Went back to the pharmacy 30min later and it had STILL not been called in. Called the office again and was told the dr was busy with a patient and would call it in when she was done. Called the pharmacy 3hrs later and the Dr NEVER called in the prescription. Ridiculous! Terrible service. I WILL NOT RETURN NOR WILL MY 2 CHILDREN.

Have been tremedously helped at this facility. simply amazing nurse practioner in the pediatric dept. She took so long with our toddler, not the standard 8 minutes so they can get someone else in there. I'd swear she cared for our son as if she were his Aunt.
From a woman who outdid herself helping us with a referral, to whomever runs the appointments desk/office, apparently they are all college graduates who are patient, extremely well-spoken, and kind. Oh, and then they get things taken care of for you. Took this time to write due to just how well run and staffed this gem of a medical clinic in rural America is.

I was absolutely thrilled with my first visit to the clinic. It is so organized and efficient and most definitely geared toward patient satisfaction. I was so happy to get Dr Goddard as my PCP. She is wonderful and actually listens and explains things. I couldn't think of going anywhere else. None of the medical facilities I used to go to in VA can even come close to the Robert C Byrd Clinic. Kudos to all of the staff!
