I first went to camp jewel last year with my best friend. I previously left an all girls that that made me very scared because I was bullied there. When my friend told me about camp jewel I was a little intimidated by it also interested. So my parents signed me up. To my surprise it was amazing. For once in my life I felt like I belonged here and that everybody is so happy and welcoming. The campers are so friendly and joyful, there's all these great cheers, and corn roast was the best! However I didn't like this one counselor who believed that my friend and I were trying to run away. Which made no sense. She also wasn't the most happy person to be around because during our senior trip she said she's going to call the camp so we'd be taken away back home if we tried to run away. I didn't get it. Why would I run away from a place so great? Anyway it's not that big of a deal but I overall love camp jewel and can't wait to go back for session four this year!

Camp Jewel is a wonderful place, with excellent staff, activities. My children talk about their experience all year long. They have become globally minded and internalized the core values. We are thankful for this special camp experience. This is our 7 th year with Camp Jewel.

I'm leaving tomorrow for my third year at Camp Jewell. The staff is more than lovely, and the other campers, though you cannot control who comes, are for the most part amazing as well. It has taught me gratefulness and a is a constant reminder to slow down. The no technology rule is a great one, especially in our times. I have multiple friends I keep in touch with everyday. I love this camp and I will keep coming back. I would totally recommend this to anyone. There's something for everyone.

I stared going to Camp Jewell when I was a day camper, and kept coming back every summer until I was a coordinator. It is the best place I can think of. It's a fun, supportive environment, and I have met some of the best people in my life there. It taught me about my self and gave me skills that I use every day. I wouldn't be who I am today if my Mom hadn't sent me here!

I attended Camp Jewell for ten years. It was the most formative experience of my life. It instilled me with amazing values and it was incredibly fun! I still have tons of lifelong friends from camp, many who I've now known for 15+ years. This place is a home away from home for many. I can't recommend this place enough!

This camp is life-changing and truly one of the best experiences a kid (or adult!) could ever ask for. I've never met anyone quite like the amazing people who work here and as a camper this was the pinnacle of my childhood. Can't say enough great things about this place, it will always have a piece of my heart!

Camp jewell is truly one of the most incredible places whether you're curious about employment opportunities or interested in attending as a camper. Speaking as a camper from the age of ten, who now enjoys working there 12 years later, I can confidently say Camp Jewell has changed my life and has consistently provided me with the richest experiences every summer. If you're looking for a place to make lifelong friends, learn various new skills, or simply just an inclusive place to call home, Jewell has got you covered.

My Camp Jewell experience started with volunteer work weekends with my family when I was 11 years old. The staff was so energetic and I loved the friendly environment, so I decided I wanted to attend summer camp when I was 13. I remember the first couple nights away from my family were difficult, however by the second week I was having a great time and did not want to leave! I came back for 4 more years as a camper and then worked at camp during the summer or on weekends for the next 8 years after that. Camp Jewell taught me many things including friendship, responsibility, and self-reliance and introduced me to many activities and skills that I might not have gotten to try if i had not attended.

Camp Jewell is the best possible summer experience a kid can have. When I first started going there I was shy, reserved, and didn't know much about myself or how to interact with other kids. After being a camper for 9 years and having the pleasure of briefly working there I have gained so much confidence and passion for pursuing my personal goals. Even though I haven't been directly involved with Jewell for a few years I still maintain amazing friendships with the people I met there and will never forget all of the important life lessons that Jewell taught me. Since I started going there my I've encouraged all three of my siblings, my older cousin, and my adorable baby cousin to visit as campers and they have all loved it. Please send your kids here, they deserve the experience.
