Great food, kid friendly. We loved the all-u-can eat vittles being served to us the second we sat down. Yummy mashed potatoes & fried chicken

Service started out strong with friendly, attentive wait staff. Greeted with hush puppies, Cole slaw, and other tasty side fixins'.
My wife had the catfish and chicken. Neither were anything to write home about. Not bad, just nothing special.
I had what was supposed to be "grilled" shrimp. Tiny, rubbery, pan-sauteed, possibly atop a grill apparently means it's grilled Terrible.
About half-way through our meal, our waiter disappeared for the remainder of the night. We waitedand waitedand waited. I had to go to the front desk to get our check, which we were overcharged for -- our meals as per the menu should have been $11.99 each, not $13.99 and $16.99.
On our way out, about 8:45pm, there were hungry people being greeted by a locked door. An employee walked out and, contrary to the hours listed, claimed the restaurant has "no set hours", and we're turned away.
Not sure how this place has such a high star rating (4.4 of 5 at the time of this review), but I wouldn't read too much into it. $45 for a mediocre meal and declining service doesn't sit well with me. Won't be returning and cannot recommend this establishment to anyone.response / report this review -

Excellent food! Best catfish I've ever had! Couldn't ask for a better place to eat! Great service as well! Awesome atmosphere!

Great food, fast friendly service.. This restaurant is a must visit when you are in pigeon forge. The chicken and fish are some of the best I have ever had. The buffet style items are definitely delicious. I visit this place Everytime I am here

We just left Huck Finn's and the Whole visit was Awesome! From the first step in the door to the checking out at the cashier's. Food was Fantastic and Katie our server was just as wonderful. This will be a Diffident stopping place on our visits to Pigeon Forge from now on!

I enjoyed Huck Finn's Catfish restaurant. The food was delicious, and I liked the fact that extra food was served on the side at no cost. It provides a friendly environment and a great group of employees. I would definitely go back.

Super service! Tammy was great for our table. The food was all amazing. The vittles were a surprise. Nice starter for dinner. The catfish was excellent, fried to perfection.

The decor is to be expected for a good down home southern restaurant. The food is amazing and priced well below most places in the area. The sides are spot on and as far as fried foods well they have them but you can always order grilled as we did. The staff rook great care of my table of 5 with no issues even being busy. Our server Julie did a great job. So 2 thumbs up to this place

A great place for family and friends to share a meal. The chicken fingers are awesome! The chopped steak is amazing. They bring out tons of sides before the meal and they are great! Go Here! It's affordable and tasty!

My all time favorite "go to" place. The vittles are excellent along with the fish & chicken. Sweet tea to die for. My family & I have been eating here for years and have never had a bad meal. Here's a tip, ask for Penny, she's the greatest server ever.

The food is fabulous. They present it in a most entertaining manner. The atmosphere makes you feel like your with friends or loved ones. A must when your in the area or vacationing with your hungry brood or a couple relaxing.

The food was so yummy! We had to wait about 15-20 minutes because a large group had just gotten there right before us but that was fine. They had a nice waiting area out front. I got the fried catfish and fried chicken all you can eat meal. The chicken was beyond good. It came with endless slaw, hush puppies (some of the best), white beans, pickles, and raw onion slices. The only thing that wasn't as amazing was the service but I'm assuming it was because of the 20 person table that came.

Love this place for many reasons. The joy my husband gets from listening to the awesome guitar player he goes on and on about how long he has played music there. The kids love it since it is the go to spot for this family when we are in town. So they are happy and the food has never disappointed us. This time however we really loved our waitress. She is a keeper hands down she has so much going for her. Perfect personality to be a waitress she did a great job. My daughter also walked away knowing what good service is. So she got some training in while enjoying her food, she just turned 16 and started her first job a couple of weeks ago as a waitress at a local Japanese restaurant and she recieved 2.5 hrs training.
