Cabin was short of standards. No internet available and the single TV is antiquated. Dish Network service leaves a lot to be desired.

While the bed was comfortable, it lacked standard items such as protective bags for bed bugs and if you stand greater than maybe 5-10, you'll end up hitting your head on the "canopy" many times. Plus, pillows fall through the headboard to the floor behind.

The sofa in the sitting area is so broken down that it is almost physically impossible to get up and out of it. Mostly, you about have to roll out of it to be able to get to a standing position.

Kitchen dishes and utensils are sparse. Understand the cabin is a single bed, but I would prefer not having to wash each dish used every time so it's ready for the next meal. Would prefer at least four coffee cups or even six so that they could be loaded into the dishwasher and run as you leave.

Cabin has a wealth of lady bugs inside, probably due to the areas of daylight that can be seen between the doors and wall.

The electrical breaker box cover needs to be secured as it swung open and closed, banging all night during the high winds.

Clear the brush back from the driveway into the cabin so that the branches don't rub the sides of the car everytime we drive in or out.

Buy a bear-proof garbage can so that I don't have to drive my trash three miles off the mountain down to the office where the trash dumpsters are located.

As an FYI, it is a bit of a drive back into Gatlinburg, possibly 25 minutes and longer to Pigeon Forge.

As a positive, the cabin appears to be relatively new, was warm, and has good water pressure.

If you are planning on a trip to the Smokies I would advise you to check out Cobbly Nob rentals. Ask for a cabin with a view and you won't be dissapointed. We go almost every year and all the cabins are well taken care of.

Always a wonderful experience! Our family rented a three bedroom cabin for a week. We have rented with Cobbly Nob before, and each cabin is a new experience. We liked the flexibility and options available for check-in and check-out procedures. Cobbly Nob is the only place we will rent from!

Loved our cabin rental at the base of the Smoky Mountains, outside of the chaos of downtown Gatlinburg! There was a game room, hot tub, and still just a short drive to restaurants, shops, and the National Park entrances.

The team at cobbly nob was so professional and very friendly. The condo that I stayed in was so well kept. It felt like a home away from home. The check-in process was so easy. I truly enjoyed staying at Cobbly Nob and will be using their services the next time I am in Gatlinburg. Thank you cobbly Nob for making my family's vacation experience so nice!

Stayed at Almost Heaven. The cabin had great views but was dirty. HVAC unit did not work. When we arrived, the cabin was stifling. Had to call to get the unit serviced. It took so long, we left for several hours to get some cool air. After the unit came on, it froze up again. We asked for a refund but was told, "I will email the owner". Obviously, never heard back from anyone.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights in the tremont cabin which had an incredible view! Everything was beyond our expectations and the staff was so friendly and willing to help and did anything to make our needs be met. We got engaged at the sky wedding site and it was the best time of my life the whole time! I definitely recommend it to anyone!

We spent 3 nights at the Deer Drop Inn in Feb. We go to Gatlinburg many times a year. This cabin has a wonderful view, lots of space and is conveniently locatedbut kitchen chairs were unstable and 3 of them were not safe to sit on, curtains and lampshades stained, the dishwasher was in bad shape, the post on the staircase was wobbly, the kitchen was poorly stocked and the pots and pans were actually dirty and in the cabinets, the spice rack was removed the 2nd TIME someone came up from the rental agency. The deck needed to have boards replaced for safety reasons. Overall, this cabin did not meet the standards we expect from Cobbly Knob. And unfortunately our concerns were not met with much concern. We are repeat customers in Cobbly Knob, but this was our first time in this rental. We will be back just probably not to Cobbly Knob!

We stayed at the Eagle's Nest it was beautiful, neat and clean. The basement has a pool table, ping pong, and poker table. Hot tub outside and jacuzzi inside. The only thing I think needs updating is the mattress. It was rock hard and very uncomfortable for both me and my husband.
