  highlights: pricey menu, mediocre food, and horrible service. Plan on spending twice as long here as you would at any other restaurant in the area.
  
  Repeatedly beyond disappointed with this place. My friends and I have been to Huapangos several times now as I live within walking distance and we all love mexican food. Every time we have been here the service has been really bad as far as the wait staff and kitchen is concerned. All three times I have been here, the restaurant seemed understaffed with just one waiter running around trying to handle all of the tables. The servers have always been very polite and friendly, but it seems like either management isn't willing to help out (I did not even see one on the floor the last two times I was there), or they simply don't staff enough people. With a table of 3 our bill was often times over $100 for dinner and 1 pitcher of margaritas, which would be ok if the service was better, but it simply is awful. The orders come out wrong, the time it takes to get a drink or your food seems to be forever, and the poor server is so busy that they never even get a chance to come back to check on you. There are several other mexican food establishments in this area that are MUCH better options for the value and overall experience.
