It was under construction. The room we are in was not the best. There was grass all over the carpet. The blankets had holes in them. There were wires hanging down the wall. I have stay at a Howard Johnson hotel before and it was better than the one in Harrisburg. I will not book a room there no more until better service is guaranteed.

Comfortable and fairly clean. Low cost. Hot waffles for breakfast. Friendly staff. Outdated but currently under full renovation. I saw the two public restrooms, that are finished, and they are beautiful so I have high hopes for next year when the rooms should be finished.

Undergoing renovations. Huge room, comfortable beds, a balcony or patio. Our room needed wall paper and a new tub, but it wasn't dirty at all. For the price with the amenities? Hard to beat. The HOJO I stayed in last had no coffee maker, fridge, or microwave and was in worse shape at a higher price.
If you stay in budget hotels, don't expect the Hilton.response / report this review -

I only stopped in to meet with some family members before going to Hershey. Looks like they're doing a lot of renovating to bring the place up to date, which is nice. Lobby was nice and welcoming. I heard the food was alright too

Under remodel, super busy breakfast grab and dash, we had donuts that tasted a few days old, hot tea, no shower head, but water hot and plentiful, just one washcloth for 2 patrons, one hand towel with black handprint, no hair care products. but two body lotions, bar soap was provided, clean room. super comfy bed, kind front desk personnel, I didn't not interact with anyone else for one night stay

Weird bugs. Holes in the wall. House keeper will throw out whatever she pleases in your room and fridge. She thought we were checking out but she didn't even replace bed sheets, they're the same ones. Used. Toilet in room 133 does not work properly. Room are conjoined but separated by a locked door. You can hear whats going on next door.

So many complaints about this place but it's actually not bad at all! Great location, gym and breakfast, laundry, the room is extremely spacious and has all you need. It IS clean. Beds are comfy. Room is clean and the pool area is really nice. At the moment they are redoing the lobby area, so that's the only thing unappealing to the eye for me. I would recommend!

The staff always treats us great, and is very accommodating to our needs. We bring over 180 people here every year for a long weekend and never a problem.

Dirty, tired, and not much to with. If you're looking to just spend a night this might be okay, but you could pay a few bucks more and get a better hotel. Front lady was over worked but super nice.

Great price. Apon entering the room there was a used soap bar left in the bathroom. There was also a condom wrapper in the trash

Was a decent hotel for price and an overnight stay. Has great water pressure in the shower but the hot water did not last. Bed was comfortable and breakfast was good.
