The hotel room was nice and roomy. Beds were fairly nice. Food was pretty pricey. The water park is more for children, but they have a few large slides for adults. The events at night were great for the kid. They made it "snow" in the lobby which was great, as well as storytime

We went to the one in Mason last year, and while that one is much bigger, the staff at Sandusky were fabulous! The room was clean, and comfortable. Our kids loved the raft rides, but missed the "wave pool" from the one in Mason. We had a birthday dinner in the restaurant and it really good, our server took care of all 18 of us and did great! Thanks Kyle!

Excellent place to stay. Staff is great and rooms were clean and ready to go. Geared towards younger kids but enough entertainment for all ages. Bars/restaurants for adults as well as an adult only hot tub. Food prices are your typical resort prices. There are a multitude of restaurants and fast food chains within a mile drive and even more within a 2.5 mile drive. The location is perfect.

Went for a long weekend vacation. 6 year old loved the water park. Rooms were nice, but we never had housekeeping come to our room for some reason the entire stay. Magic Quest was malfunctioning which bummed my daughter out quite a bit. When the staff was informed of this issue they didn't attempt to do anything about it, just "we'll let IT know". Lots of fun Halloween activities for the kids as well. Paw Pass turned out to be a nice value, but your mileage may vary depending on what your kids like to do.

Nice resort, especially for the area. Friendly staff at check in. Nice room, which ours was the family suite. Conveniently located to Cedar Falls, which is about 4 miles away. Just remember, it's all about the kids at Great Wolf, so not a good place to plan on getting any peace and quiet (especially after 8:30am). At least the water park has an adult whirlpool area. If you are not traveling with kids, try to avoid the room ending in numbers 39-48, because they closer to the elevators and stairs.

We visited this weekend. The water park was pretty good, they allowed by 4 year old to ride lots of things that some places don't. They are safe but friendly there. There's a guy who works in the arcade, named Cody.. he was kind of quieter like my daughter. She was having a tough time with something and he was AMAZING with helping her out. Kudos to Great Wolf for hiring that guy. We will definitely be back.

Great place for the kiddos and mine are 10 and 8. We were able to use the indoor water park at 1pm on the day of check-in. The place was busy, so only one of our rooms were ready. The other one wasn't ready until 3:45. I know check-in isn't until 4, it would have just been easier if my room would have been done a little sooner! Rooms were nice and clean. Kids loved the bunk bed. Haley at the front desk was one of the most helpful customer service people I have experienced. She was so kind and informative with us when we checked in and the next day when we checked out! I appreciate Haley and all she did to make our stay a great one! Thank you!

We took our 4 year old for her birthday and even though her birthday was on August 13 and we arrived at the lodge August 22 they still gave her the birthday experience. The front desk was beyond accommodating. The room was very clean and I love that you get either a patio/balcony based on what floor you are on. My whole family had a great time. Overall, we had an amazing experience and will be going back next year.

Took our almost four and almost two year old boys for a two day stay. They loved it! Great for young kids with plenty to do. Lots of near by restaurants and shopping. The rooms are older, but very clean. The water park was fun for the adults and perfect for kids, probably ages 2-12.

Tons of family fun. Water park is a blast with plenty of lifeguards that keep a watchful eye on all water activities. Food isn't too bad but at times can be pretty pricey. The price you pay for convenience. There is a Dunkin Donuts that is open from 6am to 4pm. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Family suite was nice. Beds were comfortable!

Me and my son had a great time. The water park was great, there weren't many other guests since we went during school time, and everything was extremely clean. Our toilet didn't work when we got to our room, but a quick trip to the front desk and a handyman later, we were in business. I've said it in a review from our last trip here, if you want a great dining experience, don't eat in the on site restaurant. The food is good, but the service is extremely bad. There weren't any waitresses on duty last night when we went to eat, so we were nudged to sit at the bar, so that the bartender wouldn't have to go far to serve us. The bartender was pretty nice, but she wandered off to talk to other employees several times, most obviously while we waited to order our food. All said, my son loves going to this place, and I get enough enjoyment out of the water park facilities that I can't down it too much. I'd recommend it to other parents of younger children.

It was great! I loved the fact that they let kids be kids and run around and have fun. You were not getting yelled at all the time. Kids had fun, anything you asked for the staff went above and beyond to take care of it. It was not crazy crowded. They were fantastic for my daughters multiple food allergies and took it very seriously. I was impressed and I am not easily impressed.

Great place. In addition to water park they offer many different kids activities throughout the day. We had Pup pass (40$) and kids had blast. It comes with ice cream, candy, arcade credit, make your own item and creation station where you "make" your own staffed animal. Big room but little dated. At times there were lines to the slides. Overall great value for the whole day. They also let you use water park on the day of the arrival and departure.
