This is not a Howard Johnson any more. It has a sign that reads Travel Lodge. It has a banner on the west side and that reads Roadway Inn. Whatever your lowest expectations are regarding the front desk. These guys will surprise you.
It's dirty, if you bring your own pillows don't bother making the bed. House keeping will leave your personal bedding on the floor. After all that's why I bother bring my own pillow. I want it tossed and left on the filthy motel floor. If your into that, this place is for you.

It conveniently located close to places to eat, a gas station, right next to the highway (I-70), and since it's being run by new management, they have cleaned up the hotel and updated the rooms. It's a comfortable stay for a reasonable price.

This is the most disgusting hotel I've ever stayed in. The carpet was sticky - had to wear shoes at all times.bathroom had hair in tub and sink. Toilet falling off the wall. Bullet hole in ceiling along with dried blood spots. We were awoken at around midnight by police wanting to know if we heard anything from the room next door. Apparently someone was stabbed in that room while we were sleeping right next door. This is obviously a crack hotel with all the characters, including the staff, looking the other way. When I went to check out the clerk didn't even look up so I left without a receipt. I have contacted Howard Johnson's about this experience and am receiving a full refund for this stay.

Bathtub was backed up the whole time. So gross. We always wore our shoes because the carpet was that disturbing. We made the reservation and paid for it. By the time we figured out how bad this place was, it was too late. We couldn't afford to pay for another room elsewhere. We purchased lysol wipes and sanitized what we could. Great investment.

DO NOT STAY HERE! The walls look gross the bathrooms are full of mold. The sheets have holes. Spiders everywhere! There was supposed to be breakfast from 6-10. We show up at 7:30 and there's a sign, will be back in 15 mins. And the people standing outside said they had been waiting for 30 mins. It is now 9:48 am and there is still no one at the front desk.
