I’ve been in here twice. Both times I was not greeted, I wasn’t offered any samples or offered any help. Today I stood at the register for over 5 minutes because the two employees were to busy talking to ring me up. They saw me standing there, I made eye contact with both. When I was rung up they didn’t say a word to me or even offer me a bag for my bottles of wine. I will not return.
Very good food. Small plates. Great daily specials. Excellent choice of wines.
Always great food. Sometimes there is a wait for a table if you're there during dinner on a Friday or Saturday. Reasonable prices for a finer dining experience. And, they have an extensive carryout beer and wine selection. I always buy craft beer here, and especially like that they carry Chimay blue label.
Nice selection of wine. A variety of beer to choose from. Their meals are decent. Nice atmosphere.
Extremely slow service. Took 1 hour just to get a glass of wine. Out of food items. Terrible.
Fantastic place to dine out with Family or Friends and if you are a business owner as myself it is the perfect place to entertain clients and referrals to a fine dining experience. Staff is always friendly and courteous and attends to our dining enjoyment.
I wish I could give this place more stars! Props to the chef for personally asking if the filet was cooked properly! The duck was amazing! The pick your bottle of wine concept is so cool! I can't wait to come back! Nevada is a wonderful waitress! So helpful and nice!
Don't judge a book by its cover a hidden gem in a small town, House of Wines has an amazing menu and a great wine selection. The chef checked with patrons and the staff was very knowledable on gluten free options. We traveled to Marietta for a weekend getaway and came back for dinner a second night because the food was that good. We would pay at least ten dollars more per meal in a larger city, and the food here is on par or even better than high end restaurants in larger cities.
House of Wines really is a hidden treasure. Ever since I discovered this restaurant it has been one of my favorites and for a while I found myself there at least once a week. Every single time I have dined here, my family as well as myself have had excellent service and truly well-crafted meals that never fail to leave everyone pleased. The chef has a knack for creativity and blends flavors you would never think to pair together into one of a kind culinary experiences but also frequently exits the kitchen to check that all guest's are satisfied. My personal recommendation, though simple, would have to be the swiss onion soup which made me appreciate onions in a way I never had before.
Food is definitely worth the wait Retail staff is a mixed bag, sometimes super nice, other times not so much
Patio overlooking the city Muslim River is the ideal place to relax and enjoy a glass of wine. The knowledgeable stead can certainly help you discover a wonderful wine or beer to sample.
Warning! Do not go here if you enjoy amazing service, great food and a fantastic selection of beer! I'm traveling for work and found out about this place from a bartender somewhere else. To make a long story short, everyone was amazingly helpful and personable. I was able to grab some beers to bring home that I've been looking for. Not only that, but I started to walk a few blocks to try to grab a Lyft (they weren't working in that immediate area) when some of the other patrons asked if I needed a ride! Just a purely amazing and fantastic experience. I would go out of my way to come back here. It's home.
Wonderful service, great food, huge wine and beer selection..What more could you ask for? I eat here regularly and have never been disappointed. For lunch you can't go wrong with the filet mignon meatball sub and for dinner the truffle pom frites are an incredible appetizer to start out a meal with.
My wife and I have had lunch there several times. The experience has been great each time, both in food and service. They've done a great job with remodeling the place and have still maintained a good selection of beer and wines.
