Deluxe, but low key Boutique Hotel. Has small bar near desk, as well as a rooftop bar at the pool. Lobby arcade has a handful of shops and restaurants. An awesome location right downtown, two blocks from the river and easy access to the main highways. There is a small entertainment area, think... Bourbon Street, one block east of the hotel which has myriad shops, restaurants and bars.
Natalie arranged the papaerwork and payment for us when we rented the Palm Room for a small gathering. She was warm and welcoming and took her job seriously. The space was bright, clean, and offered many amenities. The staff were helpful and quick to make adjustments to a few settings in the room. The Valets were also extremely eager to help bring all the supplies in and were friendly and went above and beyond. I highly recommend Natalie to assist in rentals and event planning.
Large modern rooms with comfortable beds and large showers. The hotel staff is top notch from the front desk to the valet, staff is exceptionally professional, friendly and polite. The hotel itself is in the old post office building in the historic part of downtown. The lobby boasts a couple of neat dining options including Ichiban sushi, Rebel Coffee and the Standard restaurant. Parking is scarce but the location is supper convenient to loads of bars and restaurants in the area
I'll start with the positives: The location is nice, and the rooms were clean. The bathroom was very modern and spacious. Balcony rooms have a great view.
The staff isn't friendly and the manager on duty during our stay was extremely unprofessional, and very rude. They are not a luxury hotel, but they charge luxury/resort pricing. A two night stay was over $800, and definitely not worth it as they're lacking heavily in customer service and luxury amenities.
We only went to the rooftop bar. They have a lot of accommodations up top: couches, a pool, and plenty of seating. It has a FANTASTIC view of the city, particularly at night, and you feel like royalty drinking there. However, this night, there was also a DJ. Typically this would be a positive aspect of a night out, but there were only a few patrons up top and this guy just kept blaring music. It was loud and obnoxious. He should have toned it down.
Great hotel and great location. Our first two nights were wonderful and the staff is very accommodating. Be careful on the weekends as locals will use this hotel as a party headquarters. Our last night was filled with loud music, which the hotel staff addressed and door slamming and debauchery in the hallways until about 2 am. Supposedly we we're staying on the quiet floor(3). I would hate to spend times on the loud floors.
PS there is a rooftop bar that locals use so many times there are non hotel guests in the elevators.
Pros: Location is right downtown Fort Myers and is easy to get in and out of Staff is very friendly A couple restaurants in the building plus a Starbucks connected Large rooms with wood floors and many Windows Cons: No parking - Valet is $18/day - I'm not really a fan of relying on someone else for my car One person working valet so wait times can be long to get your car No fridge in the rooms Pool area is mediocre Downstairs bar is never open it seems? Poor water pressure and water doesn't drain well in the sinks Thin walls, can hear everything in the room next door and my bed backed up to the joined room's TV wall
Hotel Indigo is not only conveniently close to entertainment and night life but aslo has a beautiful setting and atmosphere. We love it there. The staff is always friendly and it is always clean.
The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Handicap accessible. The staff were very pleasant and honestly a joy to interact with ( even the valet) . The location is also right by key points of fort Meyers.
Nice hotel with a degree of elegance. It is clean and comfortable. The front desk young ladies were not interested that the room coffee pot was malfunctioning. The seemed a bit snooty.
Upon arrival parking was a little difficult but once I found the valet spot it was easy. They do charge for parking but it's under $20. Beautiful entry way, clean hallways and the room was amazing! Corner room with great views. The rooftop bar and pool is simply amazing. Definitely will recommend it.
The indigo Hotel is a special historic place in the life of Fort Myers. The courtyard inside is a welcoming place. There are several shops and restaurants in the Lower Courtyard, namely the Chinese and Japanese restaurant where you can get fabulous sushi and other delectable Asian dishes. Atop the building is a fabulous swimming pool, and a great view point to look out over the city and the harbor and watch glorious sunrises and sunsets
