Pretty great hotel for the price. Room and beds were very comfortable and cozy. Pool looked nice and felt warm to the touch but we didn't use it while we here. Really short walk from the beach which was great. Very eclectic selection of restaurants and shops nearby.

Pretty close to the beach, they give beach towel and beach chair, also a nice coffee in the morning and ice for your beach cooler, as well as wifi and the room is very clean, and good customer service.

The office was literally the size of my car. The help dressed like a stripper and the cheap smell of bad perfume permeated thru out our room making it feel unsavory and dirty. Bug found on bed. We were only there for 1 nite. The pool was pretty. Without notice they started painting the pool deck! We literally did not know we went for a beach walk and planned on swimming when we got back 20 minutes later!

Friendly staff. Very clean room. Large bed.
Short walk to the beach 🌴. Pool was crystal clear. Outside has plenty of places to sit in and out of the sun. Great accommodations for the price. We'll be back.response / report this review -

This hotel is so laid back and in the perfect location for easily getting to the beach. The rooms are clean. Donna is great! Will definitely syay here again!

We were excited about Beach Shell Inn and looking forward to our trip to Ft. Meyers beach. My heart sank when I saw the hotel. The grounds were run down and rooms looked like they were formerly a mobile home, causing worries of bed bugs. Staff was generally rude and unhelpful. The location was the best part, though we were disappointed with how far it was from the beach vs. what the description said. I took a risk on Beach Shell seeing the mixed reviews. In hindsight, I made a mistake. There are so many better options in Fort Myers, I kicked myself for taking the risk and won't be coming back.

These people are thieves. took my money than had some kind of bs crap that we tried to check in earlier and were underaged. i AM 63 overbooked and gave our room away then LIED. Told me not giving my money back take it up with travelocity. Even though they gave our room away BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THESE RIPOFF PEOPLE. just found out travelocity denied my c=return this is so ridicoulous be very careful of this lying hotel they will make up stuff to rip you off and overbook. this place stold 220.00 from me. AND BE WARNED THEY DONT LIKE YOUNG PEOPLE

Fortunately, we never actually got the opportunity to stay here due to lousy management. The incompetent woman at the counter is dillusional. We tried checking in and were told 25-26 is too young to stay at the hotel. And now out a hotel room and $300 on Spring Break.

We were originally booked to stay somewhere else for the weekend but had a horrible experience there the first night. The people here at Beach Shell took us in last minute and were very nice and welcoming. It's a quaint little place that is clean and quiet place to relax to.
