Great ocean view location. Easy entry and exit. Easy under ground parking with convenient elevator access. Beautifully decorated and furnished rooms. Bed and pillows where quite comfortable. Staff was very friendly and approachable. Amenities in room were great too: fridge, microwave, coffee maker, wall mounted TVs.

Cozy hotel directly off Hwy 1, very convenient location, however if your room faces the road it's white noisy. Room was a good size and beds were quite comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I stayed our last night in California after our 10 day trip at hotel Hermosa for 1 night. The hotel was easy to find, the staff was friendly and checking in was quick. The room was a bit of an issue, we did book a king bed, it was ground level right around the corner from the reception desk, facing the main street and across from the main public restrooms. We attempted to look past it, the room itself was very nice we liked the decor and the bed was comfortable. My wife brought to my attention we were in an accessible suite and with all those pervious issues added, I decided to request an upgrade or room change. Lucky enough they had a 2 queen bed available located on the 2nd floor facing the ocean which was nice and the girl at the reception was able to solve our issues took good care of us. The beds were very comfortable, our sleep was excellent and so was the rest of our stay.

Stayed here for business 4 times. Great rooms, great view of the water, and very friendly staff. You know you're at the beach with the decor. Highly recommend. Only knock is there is nothing complimentary, not even a continental breakfast from what I could gather. However the breakfast burrito was excellent.

We planned to go to a Chargers game so we’re looking for a hotel in the Southbay. Options are limited, so we were pleasantly surprised to find this place. The Hotel Hermosa is a 10 minute walk to Hermosa Beach and 6 minute drive to Manhattan beach’s restaurants, shops and bars. The rooms are on the smaller side, but are clean, modernly decorated and have comfortable beds. The breakfast burritos are great, but no other meals are served and there isn’t a bar. That was the only downside.

Wondetful hotel. Just about a half mile from the beach (very hilly walk, need to be in decent shape.) Great coffee & donut place across the street. On propert breakfast burritos are AMAZING. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Cool hotel in the south bay of LA county. Beautiful ocean view and outdoor courtyard with billiard tables, bocce ball, corn hole, pool and hot tub. Room was a bit small, but equipped with fridge, microwave, iron and ironing board, and hair dryer. The neighborhood was nice. Just a short drive to a beautiful beach and pier, and only 20 minutes from LAX. I would visit again, and would recommend it tonanyone looking for an affordable, yet well equipped and styled room in the south bay area.

Great location near the beach. SoCal hipster vibe with colorful design and decor. Nice lounge area. But missing amenities like a decent restaurant and gym. But overall a good place to stay.

Good staff. Hotel recently remodeled including much improved rooms. Rooms include mini fridge, microwave, and large modern TV. Nice outdoor area. Parking costs extra, though if your feeling cheap and don't mind walking a few blocks you can find free parking on the residential streets. By car your 20 minutes from LAX airport and 5 minutes from the beach.

Very relaxed atmosphere. Everyone was extremely nice. Very good location, a short walk to the beach and the pier. Also a quick drive to the 405. The Yard is a very nice feature.

The hotel is really nice, the renovations look great. Rooms are decent size, bathrooms are very nice. However, our bathroom smelled like smoke in the morning and afternoon for some reason (even though it is prohibited to smoke). We were able to check in early which is a plus for sure. The location is alright, about 20min walk to the beach.

Very nice for the price. Part of a nice progressive chain of hotels that definitely have a more modern approach and consideration for guests needs. Definitely geared towards the fun, adventurous vacation attitude. Room was simple. Somewhat small but quite comfortable. Very clean and smelled wonderful!
