OMG, this place is dog central! The stupid dogs sit at the entrance and growl at you as you come in. Seriously, I have dogs of my own, but mine don’t growl at people and I wouldn’t give them free roam of my business when they are not trained. Anyhow; I rented stuff from this place and after dealing with the dogs treats as I walked in and out, I found DOG HAIR in my rental stuff. Everything smelled like dog and dog poop.. I don’t know if this is a dive shop or a kennel! Anyhow, they had some stuff, not much, everything was priced high, but the rental stuff was priced the same as the other two dive shops next door. But the other shops rental stuff didn’t smell like dog.
If you want to find dog hair in your BC at 100 feet of water, THIS IS YOUR PLACE!response / report this review -

We did our open water course at Horizon. The instructor was very skilled and fun to dive with. We had a great time snorkelling and scuba diving with Horizon.

I come down to Key Largo around October every year to dive and to just get away from everything. The experience I had from Horizon was phenomenal and I continue to use them. I got all my certification from them, and the instructors genuinely care for all the divers. They explain everything on the boat before they leave and explain the conditions either on the way to the location or at the location. Horizon Divers is a great diving company that I reccomend to divers of all experience.

My son and his friend went scuba diving for the first time with Horizon Divers, and they had a BLAST!!! Becca was very knowledgeable and patient in teaching them all the safety rules and dive techniques, and Kurt did a fantastic job guiding them through the reef! The whole staff was very dedicated, smart, and skilled! I will definitely use this dive company again! They kept my kids safe, helped them really enjoy the experience, and made it fun and interesting!

Horizon Divers was great! The shop I originally scheduled for my dives later nicely admitted they were not really set up for doing wreck penetrations (I am wreck certified already) and recommended Horizon Divers. Jessica called me twice to check in to see how she could help and with only one days notice put me with Jeff a wreck instructor to take me out. Jessica is great, she keeps the front office with the clients working smoothly, Jeff is very knowledgeable and Captain Dave was safe competent and a lot of fun. Later on we all went out for dinner and very good time. I will be going back to them for my TDI advanced nitrox, deco and advanced wreck certifications before my dream trip to Truuk Lagoon in the months or years ahead!

We received our open water certifications at horizon. Instructor Kelsey was wonderful. Made multiple reef dives during the week. Kudos to her and the entire horizon team! Thank you all for the experience of a lifetime.

Great staff. We only went snorkeling $50 but still got to see a shipwreck remains, stingray and lots of fish. Went with several divers and a couple of them saw a hammer head but we were in a different area at the time. Went to 2 different spots and had plenty of time at both. They allow riders $20 that is what our wives choose to do but be sure and take sea sick pills as the boat rocked alot while we were in water.
