We found it charming and warm. We really want to give a shout out to Monique at the front desk. She was friendly, knowledgeable, cheerful, helpful and generally interested that our stay was good. Can't say enough. The only downsides were hard beds and the heat in our room didn't work well. It was either very warm or very cold. Overall, we would recommend and are hopeful for even better accommodations after the renovation is complete.

I've been to several professional events at the Holiday Inn and the staff has always been fantastic. The space is sometimes a little cramped, so I'm looking forward to the remodel that's underway. The good food and great hospitality make it a good spot for meetings.

An okay experience. Found a room through a booking site who promised us a queen bed. When we got there they told us that the booking site is all wrong and we got doubles. Not worth the price we paid. Breakfast not even included. There are much better values in Marquette.

I just checked out from my worst stay at a hotel ever. I booked two rooms for my kids birthday party sleep over. Upon making my reservation I was quoted at 89 and some change per night. I checked in with no problems but at 9:30 received a call from the front desk saying the transaction wouldn't go through for both rooms. I was over my banks daily spending allotment, which could have been easily solved had I been informed of this at check in but wasn't able to do a thing about it at 9:30 at night. I was told I could pay the remaining room at check out and thought it was taken care of. Not even 15 minutes later a woman hunted me down in the pool and informed me that I had to come up with the cash right then or I had to leave. After much debate they agreed to run the card again at midnight and it went through no problems. I was told several times it was an oversight on the day staff but it remained my problem, and I was totally humiliated at the pool instead of being informed at check in and fixing the issue privately with a phone call to our my bank. Come to find out at check out the reason the payment wouldn't go through is because they charged me 200 PER ROOM, instead of what I was quoted at. Through every step of the way the entire staff was inconsistent and it's definitely not a nice enough place to be charged that much per room. I will NEVER again stay at a holiday inn, especially not the holiday inn in Marquette.

Nice hotel. Close to lots of things to do. They are upgrading it so there is some construction going on, but overall a nice stay.

Quality you would expect from a Holiday Inn. Had a nice room with a comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom. I would recommend checking out the large pool and hot tub area for any patrons with families. I recently attended a wedding at this venue and the staff was continuously helpful in locating the set up and event.
The reason I give 4 stars as opposed to 5 is the lack of updates that have been completed over the years. This hotel is a great location for staying in the Marquette area but if you're looking for modern accommodations I might recommend another location in the area.response / report this review -

We just checked out. June 9th 2017, while this hotel is expecting a remodel and upgrade soon. Don't hesitate to book and stay here. The staff is first class. We where here for a convention and all the staff we encountered went above and beyond to make our time here a great experience! Not just a hotel stay! This hotel is way more than 3 stars. The staff is 5 stars all the way! Way to go! 😊👍🏼👍🏼

All of the staff was very nice and helpful. They helped me with anything that came up. Dog friendly and super clean. Not to mention the pool/hot tub/ and sauna are to die for.

Love this place We come here for great buffets during important times Mother's day Christmas time. Easter Always great food.. great quality Family members have stayed here and have loved how can it isAnd enjoyed how safe it isHave also had business meetings here as well Always accommodating Clean.. ComfortableStaff is greatKind and courteous.

This is my go to Hotel when I'm the UP because I've had such great experiences with them multiple times. I think, given the weekend, the prices are pretty comparable to the other hotels in the area. The rooms are clean and updated, The food/breakfast in the restaurant is pretty good. It's in a great location, too. You can pretty much get anywhere in the town from the highway.
