Very friendly employees, esp Kandice (sp?) who checked us in and made sure we didn't need anything (we were travelling with a dog and infant). Not the cleanest hotel I've been in, but we were only there for a bed and some bfast so it didn't bother us.

Rooms are nice, clean and modern. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Always a good experience with Holiday Inn Express, and the Carlisle location was no different.

The hotel is immediately adjacent to I-76 (Pennsylvania Turnpike) and if your room is facing the highway, you'll get to listen to the lovely sound of tractor trailers driving by all night. The fan in the bathroom comes on with the light, but in spite of the racket it makes, it does not remove the water vapor from the shower at all. When we arrived in our in, all the lights and the TV were on and there was a key envelope from the previous guest making us wonder if the room was double booked. Other than that, the room was modern and clean.

The only room available: perhaps 50 feet from highway. It’s going to be a long and sleepless (Parent’s) weekend. And twice the price of other, preferable rooms in the area.

It is a very nice place; the suites are confortable. Breakfast was good. Fitness center is very basic, I would make it bigger and with more machines. The agents at the front office were very kind.

It's a nice hotel. It's currently being renovated so there's some construction. The staff is really nice and helpful. The breakfast was amazing especially the cinnamon rolls.

Nice new hotel. We still have one more day left but I don't think we will be back unless we have a room away from the turn pike we did ask but was told those are all taken. Sleep was ok but the noise of the turn pike with a 3 year old who's a light sleeper is hard. They do have a white noise machine and helped some but not enough. Rooms and hotel are very clean. Pool was great.

My son's car broke down in Carlisle, PA, and even though I reserved a room and put my credit card on file, they would not let him check in because he was under the age of 21. I asked to speak to the manager, and was told he would call me tomorrow. What a horrible way to treat a 19 year old who was already under a lot of stress from having his car break down on him. Very disappointed, I expect better from Holiday Inn.

Great location especially for Carlisle Barracks or anything else close to Carlisle as it sits close to multiple hwys and the Interstate. Clean and cozy, there is a little road noise on my side of the hotel but it's well mitigated with a sound dampening device. Television selection is wonderful and the amenities plenty. Outstanding stay that's close to restaurants. Only down side is that it isn't really close to night life or a good bar but then again finding a bar here is like finding a virgin the day after spring break Daytona. Great staff, well lit parking lot, clean lobby and highly accessible for those requiring assistance.

The rooms were impeccably clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were part of a wedding party and they had made sure that all the wedding party rooms we're ready for early check-ins. The following morning we were having a breakfast get together. There were issues with their meeting space and the electric. The staff wanting to ensure we had a good time helped us move everything to the lobby area and breakfast area so that we could still enjoy our scheduled breakfast. I would highly recommend them.

Good location for travelers and our suite was extremely large! Good and quiet location! Food nearby, as well as walmart, but driving through town to get there.it's kinda slow.. anyways great clean quiet hotel!

I spent 4 days at this Holiday Inn Express in early January. My mother passed away and we used this hotel as our home base for out of town guests and making the arrangmentments. I'm sorry that I don't have the staff members' names but but everyone I came in contact couldn't have been nicer. The one attendant even put on fresh coffee when two families finally got there later at night after traveling through a snow storm to get there. Thank you HIE for making some rough days a little nicer!
