No fitness room. Coffee mediocre. Staff friendly and helpful. Room smelled of disinfectant.

First night of my stay, I was getting ready for bed at around 11:30pm when someone started banging on my window shouting for about five minutes that she could see me sitting on my bed, see me calling the front desk BEFORE announcing that she was the person who was supposed to be working the front desk, was locked out, and needed us to let her in. My partner did so. I was "compensated" for what happened with a measly 5k IHG points. Sorry, 5k points doesn't help me stop reliving the trauma of dangerous break-ins from my childhood. I couldn't sleep because I was anxious that someone could actually see me through the blackout curtains (which had been closed the whole time) and might break in to the room while I slept. I asked to be moved to the second floor. This new room smells immediately of animal urine, but that might just be a weird mold smell, because a third of the floor is sopping wet from either the AC or the minifridge malfunctioning. I'm staying here for a conference, and I fully expect to be very sick from the mold. If I financially had other options I'd be at literally any other hotel. This is the worst IHG hotel I've ever stayed in. I bought two nights after the conference with points before seeing this place, but I'll probably just eat the points and go home without using them because this place is just that awful.

My family has Asthma and this hotel has a serious Mold and Mildew problem. The musty odor hits you as soon as you open your room door. The AC's leak water and our carpet was soak and wet, the shower curtain was musty and had mold on it. We were moved to a different room but the problem was not much better the wall had mildew all over it. I located a cart and got a bottle of Mildew cleaner and wiped the area down. The AC in the hallway was not working as well the maintenance person was not able to get it up and running even after bringing a replacement on the floor. There was not enough towels in the rooms or at the pool. This hotel knew months in advance that a large family would be staying there for a .Reunion. My CPAP and the kids nebulizer had that moldy scent when we return home and I became very sick from being in that hazardous environment. Had I known this in advance I would have not put my family at risk of becoming sick from being exposed to mold and breathing this for 2 nights. This place is environmentally unsafe for anyone with anyone with Respiratory problems. I even went to a local Walmart to purchase Lysol Disinfectant to see if it would help but the problem was too bad. This requires a professional. that specializes in mold removal. My stay was July 28-30, 2017. Also beds were not cleaned it was an awful experience.

Clean, nice rooms with an efficient footprint. Staff is very nice and helpful. Beds are a bit high for my personal liking.

Wish it was betterupon entry room smelled musty and hairs on the floor were not from me. At this price point I would expect better. Interior halls were extremely warm and uncomfortable. Bed was comfortable and room decor was updated. Staff was helpful.

The hotel was easy to find, right off the main road but it was very quiet. I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the room. Nice beds, high end mattresses, nice sized lcd tv, updated fixtures throughout the room. Best feature was the second sink outside of the bathroom (very convenient). Everyone at the hotel was very nice and extremely accommodating. Lots of towels and toiletries daily. Was only 10 minutes to the beach. I will definitely stay here again.
