Hinds Hospice is amazing! We initially contacted another well known agency when seeking an emergent evaluation for an elderly family member, but never received a call back. Hinds Hospice was responsive, thorough, courteous and had an RN out the same afternoon. All of the staff, from the visiting RN to on call triage RN have been so supportive and kind, and continue to go above and beyond to support our family and loved one through this time.
Pawan is a registered nurse who works for this company. Great companies are great because they hire great people. I am the owner of A Place Called Home Residential Care in Clovis and Pawan takes care of one of our residents. We are so pleased with her. She really does a great job.
This "charity"(not) overworks their staff so much they won't have any time for your loved one. They will ignore you as much as they possibly can and rush when they do actually come to see you. Its not uncommon for them to also screw up med orders so you either don't get them at all or they arrive late. Overall My experience with Hinds hospice has been terrible. Please consider any other option in town. This "charity" Is not a charity but a full on corporation greedy for money with no care to the health of their patients or staff.
Not only did I work with these wonderful people, I also had the pleasure of having the compassionate help of a caring and loving team of nurses, social workers, chaplain and medical director. This team of professionals kept me grounded while taking care of my mother and keeping her comfortable until her death. I cannot say enough about Hinds Hospice. I am forever indebted to them.
When Nancy Hinds founded this hospice company she set the tone for heart directed care and professional service. As a former volunteer in my youth to a recipient of service now for my own mother , I respect its thoughtful growth and development to serve. Having a team that communicates with each other to support my mom has provided peace of mind for my dad and siblings. Navigating end of life care is not a simple transaction. It takes commitment and kindness. Thank you Hinds!
