The view on both sides of the hotel are magnificent! Reasonable prices. Great location, airport, freeway, downtown San Diego and Old Town.
When I ariived to the room it was very pleasent and clean. I did decide to go to sleep because I hadn't slept all night and was quite exhaustedThat's when the hammering, drilling and banging began. I let it go for an hour or so before I called the front desk. When someone finally answered and I explained how loud it was, she said, "they'll probably be done in a couple hours." That's it, no I'm sorry or anything. Quite disappointed in the lack of customer service. Simply "caring" goes a long way.
Beautiful hotel in fabulous surroundings. This hotel is close to the airport with regularly running shuttle service. Our room overlooked the marina, which was beautiful from the balcony. Excellent hotel and staff. We would highly recommend it!!
If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around
Great room with fantastic views. Our room came with a balcony and it was great to sit out and look at the water. Nice walkway near the water for a morning or afternoon stroll. This is a dog friendly hotel. Breakfast is not complimentary - $22 for the buffet, however the good was great for a hotel breakfast. Parking is expensive ($37 per night) and limited, however they have a free shuttle to and from the airport.

Views were great but when we asked the front desk for slippers the receptionist said "This isn't the Westin". I understand if you don't have what we're asking for but was that really necessary to say? Our room was not cleaned after the first night even when we informed the cleaning custodian that we were leaving for the day and our room could be cleaned and towels could be replaced. But they were not.
I stayed one night to be close to the airport for an early flight. I was impressed with the location and the view, the marina is very beautiful though parking was a pain. I will compliment the airport shuttle that was timely and convenient.
As for inside, the first problem was the elevator. There were 3 of them but it seemed they took forever to arrive. We were on the third floor trying to go down. We watched the elevators go up and down from top floor to lobby over and over without stopping.
I could forgive that but I couldnt forgive the water. It was barely lukewarm. My relaxing shower became a dance of avoiding the cold water and getting the shampoo out of my hair.
Overall, the price of the room left me lacking. Next time I go to San Diego, Ill skip the Hilton. The Sheraton next door looked very tempting.
This is a standard Hilton property in regard to decor. Rooms are large and bright. There is a restaurant that I know serves breakfast, not sure what other meals are served on site. The hotel has a small pool and jacuzzi. The front of the hotel has a view of the bay, back of hotel has views of parking lots marina. This hotel is conveniently located to the Gas Light District, Little Italy and Seaport Village.
I loved this hotel! I was worried about noise with it's close proximity to the airport, but it was never an issue. I loved that it had a balcony. I had a great view. Plus, I was able to open my sliding glass door and let the ocean breeze in. Good restaurant and bar on site. I was also able to walk to downtown (a couple miles).
Fantastic location, great views of either the bay or the marina (depending which side of the hotel you're on), and great customer service. Best part is that there is a bicycle rental hub across the street for $7 per hour. Most, if not all the rooms have a balcony and there is an outdoor pool with hot tub.
The Hilton was very nice. Staff is very courteous and helpful. There were a few small details that could use more attention: shower heads are at neck level, bar staff during the day is somewhat sparse. But otherwise everything is fantastic.
Trip to SD was awesome. Staying at the Hard Rock was almost 100% complete except for the extra charge on the daily room rate for the All Access Pass which the check in personnel declined to mention would be an extra charge daily of over $23.00. I realistically could of gone with out this all access pass as I did not use any of the services that came with it.
Considering there are pricier hotel options tucked further in from the waterfront, this is a bit better option for your wallet and the views most rooms get overlooking the ocean. The area is also very quiet but quite accessible to the main parts of San Diego and not far from the airport at all. Rooms are decent and give a slightly more impressive appeal than what it really is, a 3-star hotel. Staff are very good, easy to deal with an try to accommodate however they can.
Wow. Brittany is extremely helpful, very kind, and thoughtful. I had to change reservations and extend a stay for a sick relative and Brittany helped make the process so smooth and easy! I am grateful for her help and easy communication. I love that I could call and speak to a representative right away without having to stay on hold or go through a long recording system. Thanks again Brittany for your generosity and help! I truly appreciate how easy it was to change the reservation with such a short notice in an unfortunate situation. Hilton properties are amazing to stay at. Great customer service!
