I recently attended a Christmas party here, and I was impressed by the event space. I was pleasantly surprised to find adequate parking in the parking lot. The event center was spacious, and had a variety of rooms, everything looked modern and the lighting was perfect.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff are extremely friendly. There is also plenty of convenient free parking. The prices at the hotel bar are high. You’ll pay ~$10 for a draft beer or bottom-shelf mixed drink. They also have a very accommodating shuttle. They’ll drop you where you want to go and you can call the hotel for pick-up. The shuttle is nice because there aren’t really any food/shopping options that are walkable. Good overall experience.

I have been staying in this hotel for last 3 plus months. It has very nice rooms and very friendly staff. The look outside may seem dated but the interior is rather modern.
On the other hand, it’s not a cheap hotel. It’s only slightly cheaper than the Ritz!! If not because it’s covered by client, I will not stay here for it’s price. It also lack executive lounge type perks for Hilton honor members which is a big minus.
So, that may explain why most people staying in this hotel are business folks and I seldom see causal families during week days. With that said, the weekend rates here are very low!
All in all, I would recommend this hotel if someone pays your bill. I will give 4.5 stars but I can’t.

I was there for 4 nights on a business trip. With a $350/night rate and being the flagship hotel near Hilton's headquarters, I was expecting excellent service. But I was very disappointed. On the very first night of my arrival, I realized I didn't have toothpaste and called guest services to request some. After waiting for an hour, I fell asleep (skipping brushing my teeth). The next morning I called the front desk & guest services and asked for some toothpaste. Still nothing. I called up again after 30 mins and then after another 15 minutes I finally received the toothpaste. Waiting for 2 hours and calling thrice to get toothpaste is simply unacceptable. The room itself was fine, as expected. But the service was lacking to say the least.

Very nice hotel with plenty of rooms. Nice and close to Tyson's Center Mall. The room was clean and as large as expected. I arrived two hours before check in time, and was informed that my room wasn't ready, but was offered a similar room on a different floor that I could check in to at that time. The hotel seemed very lively, which I liked. The atrium and bar area was awesome to see all lit up every night. Definitely will stay here again.

A great location, Central to McLean. The staff is always wonderful, rooms are clean and the other facilities are great. The restaurant in the lobby is awesome I strongly recommend it over room service.

I was here for a conference and stayed for a couple nights. This is an excellent business hotel, with fairly large rooms and good working wifi. The hotel food and are also good, and the free and plentiful parking was much appreciated. The only negative is that some of the furniture in the room showed some signs of wear, but certainly not really anything to worry about. If I needed to a hotel in the area, I'd stay here again.

Beautiful place. I attended a work event there and the front area was spectacular. The people working there were kind and very helpful. Would recommend to anyone.

The hotel is nice. Rooms are comfortable. It would really benefit from some complimentary coffee in the lobby. Easy access to Tysons shopping and downtown DC.

We have stayed at the Hilton McLean Tyson's Corner every summer for several years now. This year, however, the hotel is starting to look run-down -- our initial room had black mold on the wall next to the closet with the air conditioner and the phone didn't work. The staff were polite and apologetic and moved us to another room. The second room had a loose faucet fixture base that turns when the cold water is turned on (lending more to the run-down feeling.) Cold water comes out at a little more than a trickle. The shower head, while generous, had orange bacteria on it that I had to wipe off. Just not good impressions for what I understood to be Hilton's flagship hotel right next to its headquarters.

The lobby and conference rooms are excellent. Wonderful place to host an event. The rooms are a little small, but well furnished and clean. The bed is wonderfully comfortable.

Customer service in person is so great, maybe not as much if you call. The moment I came in I felt very welcomed and the rooms are so modern and nice. I picked the king bed on the tech floor and I'm glad I did. But seeing the other rooms i wouldn't mind that either. I highly recommend this place, if you want a nice luxury feel for a ridiculously good price.

This hotel has been exceptional during my last few visits. However, today I unintentionally parked my car in a "van only" space to run in and ask the front desk whether I needed a parking pass. Before I got through the revolving doors, the valet attendant, a thin bald black man with a heavy accent, began shouting at me in front of other guests saying "NO NO NO! NO PARKING!" getting too close to my face and blocking my way.

I was fairly shocked at his threatening and hostile manner. I tried to tell him I was just asking the receptionist a parking question but he kept shouting and I couldn't get a word in. I had to tell him to stop shouting and that this was harassment before he stepped out of my way. I was in and out in less than a minute, less then it took this man to shout at me, a hotel guest. This was very unprofessional and embarrassing. My family and I will not come back to this Hilton location.

Stayed here overnight for a wedding event - it was absolutely perfect. The rooms were neat and comfy, the staff were approachable and friendly, the common lobby is amazing, and it's in a great location! (ample parking as well) Definitely recommend it!

Initially, when I first got to the hotel the staff were rude. They ignored me and called someone else, the gentleman they called was nice and said I was there first. My room wasn't ready yet, which was fine since I did get there early. The front desk woman offered to text me when they were ready. The rooms were very nice and clean. Loved the area since it was right near the mall/metro and there is a shuttle that brings you there. Breakfast was free for me and my room with a voucher, however, when I went downstairs to the restaurant they said it was only for a single guest (I asked this question initially when I checked in and was told it was for the room). So the people who were staying with me all went back upstairs and I let my father eat instead. When we all left, however, he suddenly changed his mind and said it was for all of us. Other than those issues, it was a good area and a nice hotel.
