Very nice property. Just the right blend of modern services and a warm home in a historical Vermont inn setting. Very nice staff and operators will help you feel right at ease.

Cute bed and breakfast located in a beautiful area in Vergennes. The house and its rooms had character, and the owners were very friendly. The shower was kind of loud (like a high pitched whistling noise), and it was overall pretty old, but it was nice!

From the moment my wife and I arrived, we felt at home. Hugh was a wonderful host and showed us around. Our room was spacious and comfortable, but still felt very cozy. The inn's location provided lovely views of the mountains all around, and was nice and close to the lovely city of Vergennes. In the morning, Hugh and Mary served a lovely pancake and sausage breakfast with fresh brewed coffee. The meal hit the spot, leaving us nice and full, invigorated and refreshed to take on the day. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, my wife and I felt like we were honored guests at an old friend's house. I can not recommend the Strong House Inn enough.

The rooms were cozy and we felt like honored guests. The food was phenomenal for breakfast and the owners were very pleasant. We felt like we were staying with long time friends. Highly recommended.
