I was looking for a place to do some seasonal camping for the summer of 2018. I had previously camped at Pier-Lon in Lodi as a kid and looking to get back to camping. There is no way I would consider camping at this place once I read the owners response to a reviewer on here. Just the most unprofessional response I have every seen. You can totally see the point some reviewers are trying to make about the owner. Look for the response from Frank Marilyn Hlad, you will make up your mind right on the spot. Shame too, the pictures looked very, very nice.
Excellent campground and staff!!! The rules are in place to keep it a great place for everyone and they are very easy to follow! Wishing Jeff and his staff a wonderful and relaxing off season.
Bill and Kathy
Most horrible place ever. The owner is the devil makes you feel like your in he'll and all management must be miserable mise st loves company. They want be open very long. Worst place ever been and we are pipeliners always traveling
In response to Ashley Clark review, personally she is correct! Not false statements! And for a public review she is allowed to state what happened in whatever way she pleases. Not very mature for a business to do business the way they do and want to call someone out for their truth. If you don't want bad reviews I suggest you change the way you treat well paying customers!
This mobile home and campgrounds resort is a great place, very friendly and family oriented. Has a lot of activities such as fishing, canoeing, swimming, horseshoes, out door movies and much more! Its very laid back and is a beautiful place to just relax. Remember its camping, NOT the Holiday Inn!
Great for the weekenders. But terrible service if you plan on actually staying at that campground. Poor service and they treat you like they don't want you there. Oh and have so many rules you can't even put up a clothes line. Don't waste your money here
Gorgeous surroundings, easy access to a general store. Competent and friendly workers
Great place to camp.
Agree with other reviewers - this should be just a seasonal campground. Not sure why they even take weekenders. The owner treated me like a nuisance, not a paying customer. Reserved and later confirmed a full hookup site. Got there, no full hookup. Was told on check in that we could get a pump out for the weekend. (When I asked the owner the next day his response was I shouldn't use my camper facilities, use the public. Grudgingly agreed to a pump out, but was rude about it.) When we arrived at our site, no water! They were confused why and they had to bring us 2 extra hoses to tee off site next to us. Site was sloped badly - took 40 min to level the trailer and then my 7 year couldn't reach the step when I got it level. Reserved with another camper and they put us 2 sites away from each other when they had plenty of empty sites right next to each other that were nicer?? Mentioned that to the owner upon checkout and he ignored me. Rude individual. Will say it is a nicely kept campground, however wouldn't stay here again as a weekender and don't recommend it.
Family friendly local campground for seasonal rv and cabin campers. More of a set up permanent (seasonal) residence with year round storage full electrical and sewage sites, scheduled activities, lakes are stocked with catch and release fish, there's a pleasant inground pool, and concessionary cafe/store clubhouse where everybody knows your name! Very quaint and clean commjnity of friendly campers, intertwjned with local Amish tradesmen and community. Golf carts or horse & buggies, there's plenty of spacious country charm for all surrounded by wooded acres and farmland both. Super inexpensive produce and homebaked goods stand enjoyed by all provided by a wonderful local family. Centrally located to tons of NEO attractions equidistant to Cleveland, Akron, and the Island community including Cedar Point. Close enough to big city residents to enjoy as their weekend retreat throughout the summer after husy workweek hustle and bustle! We've enjoyed being guests of friends with a fantastic rv property at Hidden Acres, the kids always ask to return!
Absolutely horrible!! A complete waste of money! The campground is behind a trailer park and the pool is shared with both and dirty. Campground is small and seasonal campers are snobby. It was a disappointment cause we like trying new campgrounds. It really should just be turned into a seasonal campground. The owner is mentally unstable and went crazy on us and called the sharif about our sweet friendly border collie. The sherif rolled up to our site and also said the that is was stupid. Dont take your dog, seasonal campers have different rules then weekend campers and leave their dogs off chains and leashes. The place appears as a seasonal camp/trailer park cult. Save your money, go to clare-mar!!!
