I really enjoyed my visit here. A great small local/regional art museum. If you are in Hickory make it a point to stop in and take a look around.

I was here for a child's birthday party so my experience will likely differ from others. However the planned activities were very entertaining for the kids and for the parents participating with them. All in all I'd say it was a good deal. Would recommend.

Attended our 5th Girl Scout event at the art museum. Ginny Zelmer does a fantastic job with the girls. It's always a great time!

Wonderful collection of folk art and other art. This is a real gem of a museum. Don't miss the folk art collection - it is upstairs. :)

I took my preschoolers here on a field trip. They did an amazing job taking my kids around and making the art interesting to them!

For a local museum this is a nice one. Staff really tries to make people feel welcome and they have a nice variety of local and well known art. Childrens art is featured regularly and they do a great job of giving students a good experience showing their work. The building has been around a long time but is still in great shape and really has a nice feel inside. Check it out you probably wont be disappointed.

I grew up in the same neighborhood when I was little, and I have loved walking up and spending time at the Museum ever since.
