Is it new, no. Does it work absolutely. Awesome front desk, last minute check-in. 10-15 walk or drive to the beach. Basically a studio apartment for a great price.

This was such a lovely place to stay! It is close to the bridge that leads over to Siesta Key. There is a large heated pool that goes from 4ft-8ft deep. Complimentary pool towels are available at the office. There is a free breakfast in the morning from 6am-10am. The breakfast bar had make your own waffles and waffle pancakes, cereal, oatmeal, bagels, toast, yogurt, fresh fruit, biscuits and gravy, cereal bars, orange juice, milk, and coffee. It was a wonderful assortment! Another great feature of the lobby was a lending library that let us borrow books during our stay. The suite we stayed in had 2 rooms. There was a kitchen with a full stove, oven, microwave, full-size refrigerator, coffee pot, and all sorts of plates, cups, utensils and cooking items. It was nice being able to cook in our room and not have to go out every night to eat. There was a small dining room table with 4 chairs and a comfy sofa which pulls out into a bed. There was also a desk and a chair and the TV sat on a wicker stand which had 3 drawers - great for extra clothing storage. The bedroom boasted a king size bed, a TV with the same type of stand that the living room had with 3 drawers, 2 nightstands with drawers and a large closet with an iron and ironing board. The bathroom had lots of counter space and a shower with a tub. There were plenty of amenities left for us - shampoo, conditioner, lotion, mouthwash, body wash, facial bars and body bars. We also learned that there was a free shuttle to Siesta Key beach. You just need to allow about 10 minutes or so to allow them to come to you when called. We decided to take our own vehicle, but it is nice to know there was that option. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. It was such a nice place to stay and I highly recommend Hibiscus Suites!

We got moved over to this property after a sister accommodation "overbooked." We cannot say enough about how much Judit worked to get us a suitable suit. In the words of our President, it was HUGE. Two bedrooms and full bath upstairs, a large sitting room, half bath and kitchen downstairs.
We could have had a massive party - but it was just the two of us.
The bedrooms were very nice and the beds were quite comfortable. The bathrooms worked well and there was plenty of hot water. There was no shortage of TVs throughout the suite.
The kitchen is getting better stocked and what we used worked well. There was a good continental breakfast available at the office, or you could prepare breakfast (or anything else) in your kitchen.
I did not like having the bedroom upstairs when the entry doors were downstairs. there also were three entry doors downstairs which I did not like.
The bed was comfortable and the hotel itself was convenient to a lot of places. There is a nice pool - but it is not on the beach, which is why we had booked the sister accommodation, We did go to the public beach at Siesta Key, which was OK - but not what I had hoped for a special occasion.
Hibiscus was a good deal for what it is, and apparently will be getting better as it undergoes renovation.

Nice big and clean rooms with kitchen and couch but a little outdated which is ok for the price. The breakfast is nothing much.

4 stars for location. Rooms are nice, looks like they were recent remodeled. Pool is good. Breakfast is less than Continental, waffles and cereal. And burnt coffee. Go to the store and make your own. But it's less than 10 minutes to the beach!

Quaint hidden gem on the southside of siesta key. Rooms clean, friendly staff, all utensils provided in kitchenette. Continental beeakfast was good. Pool was clean and even had a bbq. It's not in the heart of the shops/ restaurants, but there are plenty around within a 5 minute drive. They even did our dishes when cleaning the room! Central air kept entire suite nice and cool.

We stayed in the suite. It is a really nice place! Extremely spacious and clean! Additionally, it was well stocked with toiletries. The staff were very nice about bringing is extra pillows when we asked. They brought it to us pretty quickly when we called them. The bed is very comfortable! I slept very well here! The location is also great! About 0.7 miles away from Siesta Key Beach. Very easy walk, it is right over the bridge. I highly recommend this hotel!
