We have a brand new home and I noticed there was a small defect in our bathroom counter top. Ryan Homes sent out a technician from Herl's Bath & Tile Solutions. A young gentleman, Trey Byrd, arrived today from Herl's at our appointed time and explained to us the process he would use to repair the area. We wern't sure this repair was going to give us that NEW finished look but, told Trey to go ahead and try to fix the chip.

WOW! We were so impressed with the finished project. Trey had worked his magic and our counter top looks and feels new. In this day and age everyone is quick to complain, but we wanted your Company to know that we appreciate Trey's professional attention to our issue. Job well done!

I hired Herl's to renovate my bathroom almost 2 months ago. Project scheduled to start today. I called twice this morning to get idea of what time to expect crew. No one called me back. At 1130 still no crew. Another 2 calls to Herl's and still no explanation. Waiting for call back from Greg. This is a time sensitive project and now it's already a day behind. I am not happy and too late to find another contractor. Poor customer service.
Update - project started last Tuesday. Alex came to start the job. He demolished the old shower which took 2 full days. Then redid the plumbing that would not drain and subsequently started to leak into my downstairs bathroom. I can not say enough good things about him, his work ethic and the quality of his work. My poor experience from Monday has been erased. Tile work started today with Joe. Anxious to see finished project.
Update #2 : Work is completed. The shower looks fantastic. I am unfortunately out of town for next 6-8 weeks so will not be using it until I get back. Except for initial problem, this company has been fantastic to work with.

If you don't mind being overcharged, then maybe this is the company for you. I was given an estimate of $7,000+ to remodel a bathroom (7x9ft) which included new tile floor, shower, counter, and 2 sinks. The current spa tub would remain. The gentleman called me a few weeks later for follow-up. When I told him I thought his estimate was too high, he said I was mistaken and that he didn't quite me that much. I told him to go check his paperwork. Lol! I guess he did. I never heard another word from him.

In less than 4 days, my two outdated 20 year old bathrooms were transformed into the bathrooms of my dreams! Dan was fantastic! He arrived on time, worked hard all day, answered all my questions, and kept the construction neat and tidy. I strongly recommend Herl's Bath & Tile Solutions! I wish they did kitchens too!

I can't say enough about Herl's and his team. I knew the design I wanted for our master bathroom but struggled with the vision. Greg knew exactly what I wanted. I trusted his design experience and I'm so grateful. It's absolutely gorgeous!! Herl's team gutted the bathroom and within a couple of weeks I had a beautiful huge tile shower, new tile flooring that looks like wooden flooring and completely transformed our dull, dim bathroom into an oasis. The team members are so knowledgeable, polite and respectful. The mess of construction was kept at bare minimum. I was delighted to come home everyday after work to find they cleaned up and greeted me to explain the project as it moved forward to completion. Thank you Herl's and team for all your hard work and dedication to create exactly what I wanted.

Do not use Herl's for your bathroom project. To address product, service and schedule I'll break it down for you.
Schedule - estimator said it would take a week to complete the project once started and that they would be able to start within 5 weeks. It took them 12 weeks to get started (meanwhile our loan has already kicked in and asked for payments) and then took 5 weeks to complete and not to my satisfaction. Still 12 weeks after completion and I am still trying to get the product repaired correctly.
Product - the shower pan was installed damaged and the contractor patched it with caulk in the hopes I wouldn't notice. Low and behold a month later and there is a hole in my shower pan that I was never informed about. The tile is good but that's about it. They should stick to tiling.
Service - my biggest problem is that they tell you they'll arrive between 8-9am, ok great. But they don't show up until 11:30am. A complete waste of my time. When I ask them to come after 5pm which is way more convenient for me they ask that I be more accommodating. They don't return your calls promptly, if at all. They tend to only work an hour or so each day (no wonder it took 5 weeks to put together a 20 sf bath).

My advice would be to look elsewhere for a bath room contractor.

Herl's have done two complete bathroom remodels for our home. They are the best very high quality and very professional work force from the sales to the install along with everyone from herl's. They keep you totally informed always show up when they say they are coming and always clean up at the end of each day. If you are looking for a new bath this is the company you want to do your job.

We just wanted our old shower insert replaced with a tiled shower. We saw four contractors, from a one-man shop to a big home improvement store. They either wanted to do the whole bathroom over or wanted to sell us an acrylic shower. Herl's was happy to quote us on exactly what we wanted. Herl's salesman showed us every step of their process, from demo to waterproofing to tile work. Their office staff communicated regularly from our acceptance of the bid to the end of the project. Their workers showed up exactly when they said they would. They worked efficiently and left the house and driveway where they had set up clean after each day. They were able and happy to explain what they were doing when asked. The tile setter was very experienced and went the extra mile to make sure we had the shower we wanted. The plumbing fittings are all good quality. Our new shower really exceeds our expectations and we look forward to many years of use and a nice contribution to the resale value of our home. We would happily recommend Herl's to anyone looking for a high quality bathroom remodel.

I gave a deposit on 4/25/2016 of $2,200.00. Herl's could not start working on my bathroom until June but cashed the check 2 days after receiving deposit. I called them one week later with in the 30 day contract agreement for a refund of my deposit because after during further research I was not happy with the work that they had provided to others. I was told out of $2,200 I would only receive $450.00 back. It was going to cost $1,750.00 to restock and ship supplies back to the 3rd party company that provided the supplies. I asked if I could have the supplies that was ordered and we could call it even. I was told the 3rd party company would not allow them to give me the supplies that I have already paid for. So for $2,200.00 I have nothing !!!! No bathroom shower and no money to fix it!! They were quick to offer financing to put me in another predicament. So yes we have been had by a company that is just out to screw people over. Take my advice and keep you money in your pocket. This company means you no good!!!!!
