They were competent at making the sale and fine for throw rugs for our dining room. However, when trying to handle a larger task as installing flooring, they were a mess. They couldn't track inventory or stock and have poor coordination for the subcontracting, as they do not actually install it. I also, had to pay the contractor separately. If I knew that was occurring, i would've hired my own guy, had better coordination, timing, and a lower cost. The savings isn't worth your time. Spend a little more and go elsewhere.
I called for the gentlemen who was so helpful & the woman in.the.office told me he wasn't with.the company I asked if she knew if she knew where he work.& I'm shocked she actually told me he wasn't employed.I do believe that is.against a employee rights. We will find our sales rep & do business with him only. Please let us know where Mr. DiNessa
Attention store manager/ owner I do not appreciate your misleading statement. The girl in the office said he was fired. I would not consider doing business with any company that disclosed employee information! We will take our business a honest company.I'm 61 yrs old VP retired and legisitative
writer so please do not insult my intelligence with a script line.
We recently used Air Base for both carpet and hardwood flooring installation. It was perhaps the poorest customer service ever experienced. Both the carpet and flooring were ordered more than 1 month prior to opening an office. Installation was first moved back 1 week, then we were told that the hardwood was on back order, and no date of expected installation could be given. As a result, a different flooring was selected. Air Base tried to charge more for the new selection. During installation, it became apparent that not enough carpet was ordered! The final insult was the balance was demanded (not requested) prior to completing the job, as the additional carpeting was awaited.
The customer service here is excellent. The staff goes out of their way to help you. I also dealt with the New Castle store, and the same applies there. Rare to have such a good experience these days. Made my day.
We recently redid our living room and checked around for prices and selections at several carpet stores. We had used Airbase before and were always satisfied with their products and services. In early July we decided to use Airbase as their selections were plenty and everything is basically laid out to see and the sales folk are courteous and are not overly persuasive. We picked our carpet and they rolled it out for us to look at and it seemed good to go. It arrived a week or so later, and when rolled out in our living room, it had imperfections that were not visible when it was showed to us originally. Airbase was understanding and courteous and quickly scheduled a new install date because we had family coming into town. The new carpet we picked was perfect and the installers were prompt, clean and and courteous. Airbase did a very good job and will definitely have us as a repeat customer.
My experience was wonderful from the beginning until the end. Customer service was awesome, follow up with prices and scheduling was done quickly and efficiently, installation was a pleasure. Product and pricing was excellent.
Great customer service to compliment the great prices they have. If your looking to remodel or build make a stop in before you start. You won't regret it.
This vendor got me my tile at a fair price and delivered on time. Our new home was delayed and they held our order for us gladly. I would use them again and recommend them highly
After what an initial misunderstanding with the sales people, the store manager called and resolve the problem promptly. Recommended..
Staff was very helpful with my 'pet requirements' , and patient with me as I searched, took pictures, and looked over rugs multiple times! Prices were very reasonable, good choices and plenty of help getting into car. Got a great rug! I plan to go back.
I paid to have their man measure my floors for carpeting. I selected carpet and waited for them to call me. They said about a week. Three weeks into waiting I decided to call to see where my carpet was. They said its in and when would you like it installed? They stated at that time they had left a message. Not at my number they didn't. We scheduled, I had to cancel due to medical reasons, and rescheduled for the 29th of April. So after waiting over 6 weeks, I was excited to finally be getting my carpets installed.
On the morning of the 29th, I had two men here to help me move furniture because airbase doesn't move anything. You have to do it. Mind you, I am paying these guys, and the installer is due at 9:30 AM. No show until 12:30 PM After viewing the area to be carpeted, the installer said he doesn't have enough carpet, and they can't get anymore that would match due to different dye lots. Their guy who measured didn't include a small hallway, and he wrote on his drawing page that he didn't measure the closets. On the invoice the salesman wrote that the closets were to be included which is what I wanted.
So after tearing my house apart, the man left with no carpet installed at all, I had no bed, the living room filled with furniture, and two bedrooms completely empty. Furniture outside on the front porch etc. so my men set to set me up again. surgery prevented me from helping. The following day, the manager called Mike and stated he wasn't going to eat the cost for the extra carpet that his man didn't measure for. and stated that a lawsuit would be a better way for me to proceed, unless I wanted my money back. I got my money back and will never consider using them again. I've told everyone I know about that experience, and will continue to speak out about that horrible experience. Think twice before you use them.
