Robin Homan and the group at Heritage Realty helped us out with selling my home. We were in a tough spot, but thankfully we had Heritage step in and take over management of the property. Then when it was time also sold the home. Working with Heritage Realty was stress-free and they answered any and all questions we had. Robin handled any issue that came up with the property easily and smoothly. They were wonderful to work with and if I have another house to sell, or buy I will absolutely contact them again!
We worked with Robin to buy a house September 2022. She made the process so easy. She answered all our questions quick. She took care of any issues that came up. She got us set up with a loan officer to get us a mortgage that worked for what we needed. She went above and beyond! She got us OUR HOME!!!! I couldn't recommend anyone more! She was great to work with!
Heritage Reality is an excellent and professional organization. Robin Homan and her daughter Rebecca represented our interests in selling our residential home in State College. They read the market accurately, portrayed our home to its best advantage and guided us through until it's closure. It was a great experience. They missed nothing and worked hard to glean every possible financial opportunity to our favor. They know the area, market, and players and used that information wisely. Though specialists in property management, don't hesitate in seeking their professional expertise in the residential home scene. You will be glad you did.
Moved into a Heritage town home less than a year ago. The rent is a good price, but getting something fixed is near impossible. You will be waiting a good bit for them to "find someone" to fix things. At this point in our lease, we have 1 of 2 toilets that can't really be used, even though "it's been fixed" multiple times, a dishwasher that can only clean already cleaned dishes, even though "it's been fixed" multiple times, a whole house fan that doesn't work, mold throughout (I'm certain the walls are full of the stuff), and lots of just poor upkeep. The outlets have everything wiggle and/or fall out if touched, the back deck is falling apart, the kitchen cabinets laminate fronts are peeling, etc. Lest I forget, we currently have a beeping smoke detector (that is is already a replacement for the 1st one when we moved in to beeping) that cannot be fixed with new batteries. When calling Heritage because it is 1 in the morning and I am tired from the beeping, I got the usual they will try to find someone because it's 1 in the morning. I know that - I too would love to be sleeping. But the beeping continuesand I am tired. All I want is too have one day when things actually work here and I am not waiting for something to be patched together until it breaks next. Because nothing seemingly is fixed, it's just me spending money to fix what Heritage won't pay for.
We lived at one of the properties and they were good with communicating our needs to the owners. When we moved into the unit the previous owners had an animal that destroyed the carpet and they were able to get it replaced for us quickly. Any repairs we needed they sent really nice people out to fix it.
The office is a little weird though. I remember when we were first interacting with then the front desk person was weird and wouldn’t answer our questions. The agents were hard to get in contact with them too. When it came time for us to move early they did their due diligence to find someone To live in our unit.
The biggest downside is just the communication. They do the job, but you have to stay on top of them to get a response/info sometimes.
