Campsites are all RV hookups. We tented there since all other campgrounds were filled so keep that in mind. Boat launch and docks at campground. Situated below raystown lake with roughly two miles of no wake zone before you hit the lake. Bath house was good. Sites were packed in tight. We had one of the nicer spots since there was an open field and pool across the road where kids could play.

It's an ok place. If you are a boater and gone all day, it's just fine. Grouchy manager. Sites not level, trees in way, or angled wrong way to back in. Won't visit this one again. Sorry not much good to say. Free WiFi is satellite, could not do anything. Pool small. The only good thing was the rest rooms.

Sites are not all level. Be picky if you have a large unit.

After some extensive research, we decided that Heritage Cove Resort would best fit what we were looking for for a camping & boating trip. We were not disappointed.

When we arrived, we were very happy to find a very clean and quiet campground. There was literally no trash around and it was very well laid out. Each campsite were well maintained and for those who are not using an RV, most of the campsites had a lot of shade and plenty of room to accommodate multiple tents. One of the things that stood out the most, were the bathrooms. It was hard to believe that the bathrooms were at a campground. There was no order and they were meticulously kept.

The boat launch is paved and built at a perfect angle to easily launch and retrieve your boat. It is also wide enough to have multiple vehicles at the same time. The docks were well maintained. You have to dock and tie your boat bow first, so be sure to have enough rope. There is some rub rail to protect from rubbing, but I would suggest bringing a towel to lay down to protect from any abrasion.

By far, what stood out the most was the customer service. I honestly felt as though we were staying at a Ritz Carlton due to the customer service. We were always greeted with a smile, and every request from ice to wood delivery was quickly met without any hassle.

The only problem we had, was there was a little snafu with our reservation, but that was quickly rectified. The 10 minute no wake zone can be a little cumbersome, but we liked the down time as we were coming back in from a full day on the lake.

I would highly recommend staying here for your visit to Raystown Lake. We will be definitely staying here again next summer.
