I led a small (12 member) group from Bluffton University to Heartland for our event planning board's annual leadership/brainstorming retreat. From the website,'s pictures, Heartland was clean and isolated enough that I decided to go ahead and book it. The website did not do this place justice. The area was absolutely beautiful . The rooms were hotel quality, the food was exceptional, the activities were designed to challenge, yet uplift the group, and the staff was beyond impressive. Everyone we interacted with seemed to be passionate about what they do, which is becoming increasingly rare. I was expecting the trip to go great, but I was blown away by just how great it was. Thanks for everything, Heartland! We will be back!
My second trip as cabin leader for 6th grade camp. Hundreds of young people can be a bit crazy. The staff does a great job keeping things moving and making it fun! Wonderful facilities!
Rooms hot, food sucks, and all around terrible experience. I don't recommend going.
I love these grounds. I love the nice facilities. They staff are very nice and helpful. There camps are so much fun. I love that they are doing all there work for Jesus. This place is a gift from God.
I went here for camp in 6th grade. Great place, and they have a zip line now!
Heartland is a peace of paradise nestled into the metropolis of Marengo, Ohio. The staff our always ready to accommodate the guests and you can tell they take pride in what they are doing by the way they keep the grounds.
Ive been there last year and it was great!
Everything was good, except for the fact the fire alarms went off at 4 in the morning, then 5:30 in the morning.
A amazing 3 days! wish it was a week :)
