Tasty food, had the Sausage omelette which isn't on the menu. Cheese tastes like actual cheese. Donna was amazing :)

Was very good food and friendly service. Chicken fried steak was good and so where the hashbrowns.

    Not impressive.
Food tastes like its cooked in old (out of date) oil.

Great place for breakfast. Cooks do a great job and the waitresses work hard to make sure you get everything you want.

Nice waitress but food wasn't hot and pretty pricey for what they serve. Try 4 Coroners if you want a great meal and get what you pay for

The carpet is so filthy your shoes actually stick to the floor as you walk. This place should be closed by the health department. The term greasy spoon is not even fitting. Greasy spoons are cleaner!

I thought i crossed paths with a notorious street gang while eating there. Turns out they were boy scouts working on a project. The food and service were both excellent. And they serve the community by helping the scouts. Never judge a book by its cover. And God Bless the Scouts!!!

This is my 89yrold dad's very favorite hole-in-the-wall-greasy-spoon café, been going there for breakfast for years. Carpet is sticky, ceiling fans need dusting, but we've never been disappointed with a meal. And mostly booths for seating.

Live near by.. South Topeka Blvd location. the dishwasher lives right next door to me. Small hole in the wall cafe with the old town square cafe feel. Wait staff is freindly, food is pretty good and the prices are great. Not a fan of the biscuits and gravy, biscuits seem like they are the sams club package and not warmed up before served. Chicken fried steak meal is incredible, and a steal, will have a hard time seating 3 people in a both if 2 people order it cause the plates fill the table.

Over all I go because it's close, I love the atmosphere, food is good and prices are great. Service is fairly quick, Staff are freindly but not always the best around but hey, good help is hard to find in the restaurant business nowadays especially in the city for a mom and pop place.

Worth at least one visit and make your own judgment from there. My vote is thumbs up with room for improvement.

Service is hit and miss. Food is always good and cheap. It's the definition of "Hole in the wall". Lots of turn over with the wait staff. We eat here often.
