We had the chicken fried steak. You could tell it was from a box. They have pie, but we didn't have dessert. Other reviews say the pie is good.

Enjoy the homestyle cooking and atmosphere! Have always enjoyed 'mom and pop' restaurants! Would rather support local instead of big name companies.

Sevice was exceptional. Had a Patty melt..rare treat. Was wonderful. Only ate 1/2 to make room for dessert. Love the coconut cream pie. My husband and I shared a piece.

Waited just shy of an hour to get our food! It was lukewarm and over cooked. Had to take our food home, since we were on a tight schedule and spent all our time waiting on less than acceptable food. Overpriced as well.

Wonderful homemade cream pies. Worth driving an extra 10 miles for. Friendly wait staff.
An extra treat was getting to meet the maker of the pies. Totally made me think of my Grandmother.

Never been here before and not sure due to the low ratings but so glad I went! Party of 8 for lunch and all were pleased with the food. Well priced and abundant sizes. The pies for dessert were outstanding!

Good breakfast options, good pancakes. Really nice waitresses, good service. lunch and dinner is average however my aunt and uncle really like this place and have been eating here for years. Decor is seriously out dated and needs new bench seating. Burgers are typical burgers medium to good, onion rings are yummy, Ruben is good but too small with little meat. This place is a hit or miss for me but I wasn't born and raised here. Lots of locals come here, parking lot pretty full around lunchthat might be a good sign. Famous for their pies, most are home made, I had a piece of chocolate pie and it good.
