I was not very impressed we went there I ordered enchiladas they came with a red sauce that was very unappetizing not like you normally find on enchiladas. The drink seemed water down and not up to par in my opinion for what I'm used to getting that other like places around town. The seating areas seemed very outdated run down and weren't well-maintained. While we were there it was as if the whole family that maybe own the place was there sitting in a little private booth towards the back with little kids running around and screaming back and forth and it was not very professional.

Wonderful food, filling portions, friendly staff. My only recommendation when going is to make sure they know exactly what you want when you order. They gave me a completely different dish than the one I ordered, but it was still real tasty.

P.S. the Horchata is amazing!

This place is understaffed, place my lunch order. 30 minutes later never got it, just had to leave wasted my whole lunch break & table was sticky (wasn't cleaned well ) disappointed

Rough visit. Typically quick and accurate, along with good. The good part was all that was the same this time. Was the 3rd person in after opening and placed a to go order. For 45 minutes I waited as table after table got their food. They did give a 20% discount for the long wait. But in the long run, with the missing items, not much of a discount. They left the mushrooms off the veggie quesadilla, didn't send the pico, and only filled the large cheese dip a little more than halfway. ( As we all know that stuff is expensive!) I'll give them one more try, but if it is like this experience, I'm done no matter how good the food may be.

Ordered fajitas and found the dish perfect! Delicious, generous portions, perfectly prepared. Served with warm tortillas, refried beans, lettuce and tomatoes. The chicken was prepared with onions, and green bell peppers. Excellent!! Great service.

The horchata is really good, super friendly staff. I thought the salsa could have been a bit spicier, but it was still good. I liked my entree, the chilaquiles rojos. It was different from what I'm used to, preparation-wise, but still delicious.

I would definitely come back here when in town. They made me feel right at home, as though I were already a regular customer.

We love the new Amigos location off 29th and Wannamaker. It has become a staple of our neighborhood restaurants which we enjoy! The staff, service, and food are all excellent and we plan to keep coming back with our family for many years to come!

I am very disappointed. Things have changed. I ordered the pollo el gringo which is supposed to be 2 chicken breasts and what I got was 2 pieces of chicken lunch meat. It was flat and paper thin pieces of chicken. The staff is different and not one time did our waitress come and ask us how things were or anything. The beans were from a can. The chili Verde sauce my husband got was not anything like it had been on our previous visits. We wont be going back.

It's not a good sign when you have to ask for everything. My first experience last night was not great. We ran out of water and had to ask for refills. No one asked if we needed anything else, a to go box, check or nothing. No extra napkins, nothing. If I have to do everything I might as well eat at home. Then the check is placed on the table and your not told if you hand the money to them or go to the register. Like I said this was my first time. The staff seemed more interested in socializing than customer service. It's food you can get anywhere. This was at the South Topeka Location.
