Not a lick of snow in the county, but doesn't matter bc Hawk's Nest makes their own. Had a blast. Fair price. If you're driving a good distance to get there, plan other things nearby to make a full trip out of it (Blowing Rock, Otter Falls, Linville Caverns, Grandfather Mountain, etc)

Waaay to much people for tubing and lanes move very slowly. In 1:45hr session was only able to go 5 times. And this was on a Thursday, I cant imagine whats going on here on Saturday. Ziplines are fun. But to expensive for what u get.

Booked online got to location and conditions were bad. Tubes would not go down first part of “fastest” hill. Kids had to walk down 3/4 of the run to get to carpet to bring back up. I asked manager about refund or when they would consider conditions too bad and he said it would have to be much worse than this. Employees at snack bar and gift shop were great the manager not so good . Hard to stomach paying 35 dollars each for six people to walk down a hill. Kids wanted to do zip lining here but based on experience I don’t see me giving anymore money to this establishment.

Went there with my mom Summer 2016. Very knowledgeable and safety oriented staff. I was scared to death but after the first "zip" I was having fun. Would love to go back soon!

We were first-timers, and Heather and Brian were great instructors. We had a blast and always felt safe! We would recommend this experience to anyone. As senior citizens (67), we know that others like us will have a fantastic time ziplining.

We ordered tickets in advance separately. And, when my friend accidentally ordered tickets for the wrong date, I believe they were able to adjust it.

Tubing is great for groups because the more people you have, the further you can go.

I had a fun time. Hadn't gone sledding since Ky youth, so it was a lot of fun to experience that a bit again.

Our guides, Ryan and Laura were fantastic with our students keeping them safe and aware while keeping the energy up. We take our students to Hawk's Nest a couple of times a year and I have never been disappointed. It is well maintained and professional. Definitely recommend it, especially for groups of 8-12.

Great place for families to enjoy tubing! The set up is no fuss we reserved online for out time, which is a much better option than the "first come, first served" situation found at several of the ski resorts. The wait at each line wasn't too long, the "magic carpets" that carry you back up the mountain were all working, and there is a great viewing area for the grandparents who didn't want to ride. The price is comparable to the other options in the Boone area, and the snow was of good quality. Highly recommended for all ages (our party spanned from 4 to 57). We will return.
