Love this place!! Food is always fresh no matter the time of day. The staff is always kind and courteous. Always a nice, quiet place to get excellent bbq! Recommend the spicy cheddar sausage!

Food is great. BBQ snobs may prefer other places but if you base your opinion solely on the food and not on preconceived ideas of which BBQ joints in KC are the best, Dickey's is very good. The staff has always been nice, the service good.

Actually the food was fair but I ordered brisket and when I got to hospital couple blocks away to visit family found my to go order was turkey. While it was moist and good it wasn't what I wanted or ordered. I went here specifically for BBQ, not turkey. I found the prices where a little higher than you would figure for a fast casual type BBQ joint. More like the prices for a sit down, be waited on and served type place.
