  This is absolutely a college bar. My boyfriend and I came here on our speakeasy/bar-hopping trip in Hollywood. This was one of our last stops. It's not a speakeasy even though it's listed as one, probably because of who created it. We are both in our late twenties, out of the college phase, and we could tell what type of crowd it was as soon as we walked in. The decor and vibe of the place isn't anything too incredible or unique. It's not a bad place, but it does get PACKED on the weekends, especially with a lot of people in their very early twenties looking to get trashed. Not our scene so we got in and out quickly after one drink. I did appreciate the spacious layout though considering the large crowd.

  Nice atmosphere, reasonably priced drinks, friendly bartenders.
  Had a problem with the asian bouncer though. Picked out two girls from our group to let in at first and made everyone else wait in line.

  Harvard and Stone, the name and the dark, rocky attire of the bouncer outdoors already evoke what you might picture to find inside.
  Right at the east end edge of the non edgy-touristy Hollywood, lies this not so pricey, scarcely lit, vintage, grungy, easy going indie/country influence, live music bar that attracts an interesting combo of long term LA residents and lost tourists trying to evade the hustle and bustle of tourist traps on the strip.
  As a local, I can't complain. $3 beers (yes, cans, so what?) on a happy hour that goes until 9.30pm (on a Sunday)? Not too bad!
  And free live music? I'm in! (Although country, old or new, has never really been my cup of tea, but seems like they're not always restricted to that genre).
  And I'm pretty sure they had a BBQ going on in the back.
  So convenient location, cheap drinks for its convenient location and some hot faces for the singles out there (although it was pretty dark, but I wasn't drunk either!), pretty good combo!
  
  I would definitely come back see if they can sell me on the music to fully win me as a regular.

  This place has a wonderful vibe. The crowd was friendly. The downside is the atrocious parking situation that the entire neighborhood has. There is no valet parking here or at least there was not the Thursday night that I visited and finding parking was an absurd chore. This I'm not certain is Harvard and stones fault just their location happens to be challenging otherwise I think I would have given my review five stars.

  Awesome atmosphere with rustic industrial decor. Speak easyish with brulesque dancers some nights. Drinks are good and strong.

  I love this bar. It's a great venue for live music, and there are go-go performers in the cat walks around the bar to titilate the crowd. There are actual two bars, one in back and a large central island one in front, and a cozy smoking section in the back. There are a couple VIP sections, cozy couches, and adept waitresses taking orders around the place. The drinks were nicely prepared, and they have a decent beer selection.
