They don't like pets and the staff is horribly rude (especially the park manager). You will be constantly watched for rule violations and targeted after 9 pm. If you like camping at the state prison then you will love this place. Good luck.

Very clean grounds and facilities. Nice playground for the kids. The spring has an over bridge and concrete steps that lead down into the spring. The lots are mostly shaded and well kept. Upon my arrival to view the property, the workers were diligently making repairs to keep the park running as it should. Everyone was friendly and informative. Indoor pool area is well kept, although no lifeguard. Nature trails to walk and just around the road is a double boat ramp to the Historical Suwanee River. Very not very place to spend a weekend with your family.

Every summer, I come to the springs and stay the entire weekend. I most recently got a puppy. I called 2 weeks in advance to make sure it was fine to bring her. I was told that my puppy could come, but she was not allowed down at the spring. That was fine and I understood the reasoning behind it. My boyfriend, my puppy and I made the three hour drive to Hart Springs, bought a camp ground for the weekend and set up camp before we were chased down by one of their staff exclaiming that we can't have pets there. I advised her that I called weeks in advanced to make sure it was fine. She told me that the person I talked tonight have been talking about the RV camp site up the road. My boyfriend went in side to speak with a manager and only got attitude from her. My boyfriend, my puppy and I had to then pack up our camp site and make another 3 hour drive to go home. I believe this all could have been avoided if the staff would have correctly informed me of the dog rules. I would have arranged to have someone watch my puppy for the weekend rather than waste my time and gas to drive 6 hours for nothing.

Nice place to spend a day. Lots of swimming area in the springs and a diving platform to jump from. Many pavilions and a nature trail/boardwalk as well.

Spent the day there with family & friends. Can't wait to go again. Definitely reconsidering camping there after reading the reviews tho. But a day trip sounds pretty good in the future.

Called On Tuesday to reserve 2 spots for the weekend. Was told I wouldnt know were they were til we got there. Called the morning we were to arrive and they couldnt find us on the books. After awhile they finally found it.still good to go. Arrived around 6:00pm and told again we wasnt on the books but then found us again after looking several minutes. We had asked for 2 spots together, pull thru, for 30 ft+ rv's. What we got was 2 spots backing into a hole. We spent over 2 hours trying to get into a spot that wasnt meant for larger campers, no one around to help us, our little dogs sitting in the hot truck while we fought trying to figure out how was we ever gonna fit 2 campers in a hole until we finally gave up and headed out. We stopped in to complain with the camp host and she offered us another spot large enough for our campers, why was we fighting to setup in a hole when there were so many other spots still available. We took the other spots only because we were not offered a full refund but our whole trip was ruined from being so stressed out by the whole ordeal. We will NOT be back in fear that they try that again. And btw we were told by others that they also went thru what we did. And as far as the ants, they are everywhere! and yes there is drinking although it says no alcohol and the springs, we never even got to see since they were so far away and our time was cut short by spending so much time trying to setup our camper in a hole. Be clear of lots 50 & 51..they are NOT big enough for larger rv's!
