Stumbled upon this place when we were traveling through the area. The first thing you notice is the outside of the building. It looks like a quaint little bed and breakfast of years past. The inside has lots of antique decor and is very cozy and welcoming. The staff was friendly and attentive and the food was delicious and was served in a timely manor. I will definitely recommend this place to others and am planning to stop every time I travel through this area again.

Fantastic atmosphere and service. Excellent food I had a crock of delicious French onion soup! Hot ham & cheese sandwich! Reasonable prices.

This is a quaint, down-home cozy place where staff and customers are friendly. Good food and it comes out from the kitchen fairly quickly. It has been a tavern since 1803. Although people no longer arrive by horse and carriage, there is ample parking for cars!

Best rueben sandwich I've ever eaten. Mm! It's a good thing they're so far away. If they were any closer I'd eat there everyday. Good prices too.

This is the best restaurant in town if you are looking for something healthier than pub fare--which is what everyone else offers. We were disappointed to read that they were not open every evening.
The menu has vegetables, grilled fish, salads (the steak salad is great, but note that it comes with fries on top).

Steak delmonico is spectacular. Cooked perfectly to order with delicious sides. You know it's a good restaurant when the parking lot is full.

Service for a party of 18 was spot on and time from order to food presentation was quite efficient and accurate. Slightly pricey but if that's the kind of service and top notch food quality, you're getting what you're paying for! 4 1/2 🌟

Good food. Nice place for family. Small for groups but enjoyable for after funeral meal with family/friends. Used by many people since proximity to Fort Indiantown Gap Cemetery.

Nice staff. New England Clam Chowder was very good. Wife enjoyed her grilled swordfish, my NY steak was perfect. Place is literally over 200 yrs old.

Decent steak, average sides, poor wine selection. Thurs was steak special night and they ran out of special steaks but had plenty of the more expensive ones. Service was good.

Great place for just two people or a group to relax and enjoy dinner or a drink. Perfection from the staff to the food and drinks. There are different rooms to enjoy dinner. A quaint bar area and a lovely covered outdoor deck. This is worth the drive if you are looking for a new dining experience.

Great & friendly service. You can have a fancy sit down dinner of steak or seafood OR grab a beer and burger at the bar. Popular with the military from the nearby Ft. Indiantown Gap.

We had a great lunch here while visiting with my cousin who was training at Fort Indiantown Gap. Extensive menu and delicious food. No one left disappointed. Generous bar beverages as well. We will be back.
