We always love our yearly trip to Hanns for our Christmas tree! Great employees who are very helpful and friendly. Pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus! Huge jungle gym for the kids to play on. A few spots for family photos. Tractor hauls your tree to the check out and can give you a lift too. Thanks for another great trip, we'll be back next year ❤

Hann's Farm has a very good selection. The trees are a variety of sizes and generally well formed. I really liked that they helped tie it down to the roof.
However, I found the prices of the trees to be $15-20 more than I would have expected. My tree was 7 or 8 feet and was $70!! Unfortunately, for this reason we might be trying somewhere else next year as there are many options in the Madison area.response / report this review -

We were happy to find a tree farm open before Thanksgiving so we could get a tree while all our kids were home from college. Because of this we went to Hanns for the first time after going to Summers for the past 20 years.
We had a very mixed experience at Hanns. On the plus side, we got a very nice tree and the shop had a great assortment of ornaments. They also had some cheesy but cute photo opportunities.
However, the trees were expensive and the service was mediocre even though we were one of only two families at the farm.
When they wrapped our tree the trunk was cut at an angle, tricky for straightening in the stand. We asked them to recut it again, it was even more slanted the second time. None of the 8 employees we saw offered to help tie the tree to our car, even though we were clearly struggling (again, one of two families there). We bought several ornaments but the woman who checked us out acted put out when we asked for a box, saying she didn’t know if she could find any. A younger girl did step in and gave us boxes with a smile.
All in all we had a good time as a family because we were together, but we won’t be going back. We’ll stick with Summers.response / report this review -

Our tree is healthy and beautiful. Great selection and they will shake, bale, and help load the tree into your car.

Great experience that can become a wonderful tradition. Employees are very helpful. They have a nice gift shop where you pay for your tree and can kill some time while waiting for the tree to be bailed.
There's a nice selection of trees. They have saws to use to cut down your tree, but make sure to pick a sharp one.
They will bail your tree and tie it to your car.response / report this review -

We started going here several years ago when the place we had been cutting trees just didn't seem to have good trees available anymore. We're going to Hann's again today. Great trees, great atmosphere, friendly folks, trees arranged by variety so you can go to the ones you want or just wander outside until something catches your eye. Hot cider, a nice little shop to warm up in after tromping in the woods.

Excellent place, quaint little barn and shop. Great selection of trees, Fraser, scotch pine, Canaan, white pine and balsam. They probably could add a second wagon and tractor. The ride was too long. Highly recommended.
