The whole place was clean and just like home. The staff was very friendly and the text messaging was a big plus for us. The hotel texted us to make sure everything was on schedule for us checking in. And if we had any needs we could text the front desk. This is the perfect place to stay if you are going to be attending PIR at the Naval Station. The hotel is only about 15 minutes away.

It was very clean! The staff was very formal (which I would prefer a friendlier approach but I appreciate the formality for sure) and the building could use an update. Other than that the extras such as Breakfast, coffees, etc were better than most.

I want to thank Mike Drab for making our weekend extra special! He is an amazing guy and is so kind to all his guests! The staff is very friendly and welcoming and just do such an awesome job! We will come back here many more times, it just was such a pleasant stay all weekend and I thank all the staff for it!!! 😃😃

I stayed at the Hampton Inn Chicago/Gurnee for two nights, and I was delighted by the service. Check in and check out was swift and courteous, and the lobby and room felt welcoming. The complimentary breakfast at 7am, all-hours coffee station, and fresh cookies at 8pm were greatly appreciated. The location is within walking distance of several restaurants, as well as Six Flags Great America. Overall, my experience was pleasant and I will be visiting there again.

I'm a dedicated Hampton customer. Tired of years of Marriott et al rip offs and pretense. Simple clean comfy, always coffee on. This particular Hampton is my fave in all my travels. Alert efficient staff. Never a glitch or issue in 4 yrs

Staff is nice and helpful, room is clean and nicely decorated. Pillows are fluffy, beds are not comfortable, water pressure and shower head are terrible.

It wasn't bad. I had a comfortable night and the only problem was a fire alarm that was going off, but they fixed that. The breakfast was amazing.

Very comfortable beds and clean room and bathroom. The front desk lady was very nice, they serve breakfast every morning from 6:00-10:00am and coffee right throughout the day. The overall experience here was very good!

Comfortable beds, good Wi-Fi, fridge, microwave, and great breakfast. They could use more parking but I got lucky and always got one as someone was leaving. Wasn't aware you could smoke in hotels and wished I asked for a non smoking room but that's not the hotels fault. Would definitely stay again.
