Great Resort all around. I would recommend it to all my friends and family. The pools are great and the view of the ocean , amazing. If you love golf , this is the place to be.

We loved the hospitality of the staff and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of hammock beach. Beautiful, well manicured grounds and we couldn't keep our littlest out of the pools or off the 3 story water slide. We will return again to this wonderful place

If you want the awesome amenities that Florida has to offer without all the hustle and bustle of the city, then this is the place for you. There is something for everyone here. The beach is gorgeous. With anything and everything to do, there's never a dull moment. And the friendly staff top it all off. If you want to feel rich for a day, or week, then look no further.!!

The villas are beautiful, much nicer than main hotel. But they still have hurricane damage causing leaking roofs. They have no covered walkways for use during rain storms. They offer shuttle service to main building but to get to shuttle we had to walk in 3" of water due to bad landscaping and drainage. We dined in the Atlantic Grill took a shuttle to it but then had to run 50' thru the pouring rain, no covered walkways! Tried to go to the South Tower but elevators located with no protection from rain. Folks this is Florida we have a rainy season with storms sometimes daily you'd think with the prices you pay there would be covered walkways so you could enjoy the whole resort without getting soaked!

Beautiful beach front Resort. Great for family. The resort has anything and everything you need. Stayed 4 days and still didn't get to experience the full effect and all the amenities. So much to do and see. Staff is more than friendly, and all the guest were nice. Will DEFINITELY return.

Great amenities and service. It's a hidden Palm Coast jewel. Their pool is amazing for kids and adults alike.
I couldn't give it five stars, because every room in the hotel is different, given how every room is individually owned. As such, from a consumer's perspective, you don't know what your going to get, in terms of room furniture and location.
We moved twice, in order to get the room view we wanted. Note: ocean view is NOT facing the ocean. You have to tell them you want an ocean "front" room. That's s distinction they don't give you until you check in. Other resorts, like those in the gulf, do not have these play on words with their rooms.
Overall, it was a very positive experience with the staff and amenities. I would recommend other families to experience this resort.response / report this review -

Beautiful luxury resort! People should not be concerned about negative reviews because the only TINY UN-IMPORTANT THINGS are not in great condition (like some roof tiles). The place is very big with a ton of stuff to do (4 pools, water slide, mini golf, bike rides etc) and everything is complimentary. Beach chairs and umbrellas are also included for no charge. The beach is also not very crowded since there are no neighboring resorts.
The room we stayed in was brand new, very large (main tower, 3 bedroom condo) and incredibly clean. The full kitchen was really nice, but if you don't want to cook, the Atlantic Grille has affordable and very good lunch service. Can't say enough great about this place! Its gorgeous and has stuff for the entire family!!response / report this review -

Villa was exceptional. Had a small issue with the AC unit not working upon arrival. Maintenance staff had the issue resolved in less than an hour of reporting it. All staff extremely helpful. Excellent resort!!

LOVED IT!!! I spend a lot of time at the Salamander Resort in Middleburg VA which is a sister resort. Sheila Johnson and her staff do a great job making sure that you are welcomed and comfortable during your stay. May I recommend definitely going to the outdoor pool bar for a refreshing mixed drink. The servers and bar tenders are super sweet and accommodating! The spa is also very nice! Ladies the steam room was my favorite part! They have a lady attendant in the locker room who gets you all set up with what ever you would like! Very relaxing and elegant.

The resort is gorgeous. The view you get when you step down the stairs for the first time is beautiful. The pools are top notch and the beach is great as well. Fun activities and great staff will make sure you enjoy your stay at this resort

From fun to none. Everything great until yesterday. Some older lady filed a formal incident where she got hurt at the kids pool. Security was there and the whole bit. Today we get to the pool and it's like trying to get a regular coke at a school. The end of fun and sun and the beginning of golf marshalls at the pool. They wanted to check my bag? At a resort?

Pros: nice pool area for kids. "Heated" outdoor pool meaning almost warm. Nice water slide for kids and adults. Lazy river is ice cold so unusable. Good upper pool area for adults. Nice "beach pool" with sandy area. Cons: Ice cold lazy river. Heated indoor pool is extremely smelly. We didn't use it a single time because of the smell and it was a major reason we chose this resort. I understand the "no outside food or drinks" because they want to sell you refreshments but if you have condos with kitchens, this rule is somewhat ridiculous. On top of that, they charged $14 for a drink that should have been less than $10 because they knew they could. Extra fee for room service. Out of date menus for room service. Unable to use the bellhop's luggage cart as they said there are smaller ones in the parking garage for guests. But I couldn't find one nor did I ever see one the entire week we were here. Room keys easily get erased by cell phones apparently. We got locked out of our room at 10 pm with our baby because the card had been erased. The security guard system at the gate is extremely inefficient. One lane for all guests whether new arrivals or guests already checked in. We waited almost 15 minutes in line at the gate at midnight. Limited food selection. Dead golf course under repair. The pool makes things worthwhile, but little annoyances added up.
