I had an issue with a vanity/sink combo that I bought at the West Allis Wisconsin location. I called, spoke with the manager, Harry. He was extremely friendly and professional and very easily helped me with my issue and exceeded my expectations. He also transferred me to a woman named Marcia to get some details and she was just as professional and friendly.
I've been shopping here for years and have no plans of ever stopping.

HOBO is great for finding what you need (or want) for seriously lower prices. Where else can you get a carpet square for $2.50? Get ready to go hunting! I always come out with a prize! 😊

Over the years we have purchased several things from hobo. This location has always been awesome throughout furniture and mirrors formats and several other things. All of the merchandise is classified as Class B but 98% of the time there is nothing wrong with it. The way it works is if there's something severely wrong with it will reduce the price even more. The employees are knowledgeable and helpful every time I ask questions. Unfortunately I also happen to know they are underpaid and deserve much more money. The only other comment I have is that their bathroom could use a small renovation beginning with cleaning and finishing with a coat of paint. Definitely worth the trip make sure you go.

I just wanted someone from Hobo to know how much I appreciated the crew Supreme Construction sent to do the cabinets in my home on Tuesday, 9/12. Ken, Rich and Luis were great! They were professional and also very accommodating to answering my many questions. Not only did they do a great job but the interaction between the 3 was professional and funny! They genuinely seemed to enjoy their work but also working with each other. This is rare in what I have experienced. It was a pleasure doing business with them. Thank you.

Great lady helped us with trellises and asked the mgr. if we could get a discount being that the one we bought last week was on sale. Gave us off 5 bucks each. Super friendly.

I purchased the Celedine bedroom set at the end of January but didn't have time to switch out my old set for this one right away. When we finally had time to do it the middle of February. Took the mirror or the packaging and it was manufactured damaged. The plywood of the back of the mirror was stripped from the screws holding it to the mirror. I called and they were willing to exchange it, but stated they had to bring it from another store, that they would call me when it was in. A week and a half went by and never received a call. I called and had to explain the situation all over again because it was never put in the system. I picked the replacement mirror up on Tuesday. Went to put it up on Sunday and on the bottom of the mirror, the wood was broke. This is ridiculous! Now I want a full refund!

I like the store pretty much in West Allis. My most recent purchase was tiles for a kitchen back splash and supplies. Loved the variety. HOWEVER, I was in there Saturday morning and the music was driving me insane!! It was rappy hip hop sounding stuff and too loud! I was trying to shop in peace and concentrate on picking out some tile, but again that music was so annoying and distracting. I almost walked out, but really wanted to find some tile that day. Today I had to go back for a few more tiles and I didn't hear the music. My next purchase I am hoping for is installing a granite or quartz counter top. They have good prices and variety, but please no more of that a music!

I bought some tile here and needed to return it today. For one part of the return, I didn't have a receipt. For the other part, it was a special order. One of the employees helped me load the tile - there were 5 boxes and they were at least 75 pounds each. I only wish I had his name so I could give a shout out to him - thank you, nice guy who was soo helpful! Then, when I got to the return, the cashier - Ashley - was seamlessly efficient - she did both transactions without a hitch. This honestly has been the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have received in a long time. Everyone I encountered there was pleasant and DID THEIR JOB. It was a great experience.

Purchased a double sink and had the store employees check it over and it looked O.K. Got it home and found a hair line crack. I handled the sink gently and did not drop it. Took it back to the store and the manager would not give me full credit. He must think that his employees have X-ray vision and should have seen the crack. Sink was made in Mexico and traveled several thousand miles to Milwaukee and was handled by many people before I purchased it. I will shop in the future at stores that stand behind their product.
