Had a great time here. They have a unique model where the chefs each present their dishes at the table and describe it. You then decide whether you want one or not. We had a larger group, so we pretty much took one or two of everything. I love variety so that was great to me. Everyone had something they really liked. The only downside was the loud noise level but I found it to be festive. Try the craft cocktails too.

Visiting Atlantaloved this restaurant. The chefs bring the dishes to your table you decide if you want the dish and how many. Great concept for a big group we basically tried every dish. My favorite dish was the curry beef tartare so good. Also the desserts were awesome.

I usually don't swoon over celebrity chefs but I've been a fan of Kevin Gillespie ever since I met him at a farmer's market in Piedmont Park. He was approachable, unpretentious, and genuine - all qualities that show in the food he prepares and inspires at his restaurants.

A foodie friend from New York and I visited Gunshow and had a fantastic experience. The chefs come around to your table and tell you what they're offering, an American take on dim sum, and you get to see the dish before you say either yay or nay. There wasn't one thing we tried that we didn't likeincluding the artisan cocktails.

A rotating roster of chefs showcase monthly creations, usually based on a central theme. Combine that with a stellar drink menu and communal seating and you have a very fun social and culinary experience. While you can visit and easy without breaking the bank, I do recommend bringing a flexible budget and friends so you can experience as much of the menu as possible each visit.

I've been to Gunshow a few times now, and every experience has been amazing. The staff is fun, the drink cart and bartender is a cool experience, and the food is seriously good. The quality of the food is top notch, and the concept of having several chefs make a couple of dishes (with a weekly rotating menu) is always a fun surprise. They make some pretty creative dishes.

The restaurant is a little casual (which I like), with a relaxed environment, usually with some good music playing in the background. And it's cool to watch the chefs cook and to have them explain to you what you're about to eat.

This is a place that everyone in Atlanta needs to experience at least once!

My goodness this place was amazing. I will admit that it took a few minutes to get use to the ordering process, but once I got it, it was so much fun. Staff was so friendly, the menu was amazing and the banana puddingmy goodness. I definitely want to come back next time I am in town. Such a fun place to eat and food was amazing.

Have you ever been to a Brazilian steakhouse or a Chinese dim sum? Imagine both but with refined Southern food and if you haven't gone to either..you're in for a treat.

This was a very unique dining experience. I was NOT expecting cafeteria style seating with my date sitting on the opposite side of me and other patrons so close to me but I LOVED IT. I was so curious to see what others ordered and ask if we should order it as well.

Gunshow serves amazing small dishes and the actually chef comes out and presents each course to you. The drinks are made table side. I did feel bad declining some dishes since it looks so yummy but after dish number 5 - I was stuffed. This by far is one of my favorite restaurants in Atlanta due to its creativity, amazing food, and ambiance.

I wouldn't recommend it for a first date, since it's quite loud and busy, but definitely worth it with friends, family, or if you're in a relationship.

Overrated. If I spend that much on food, I don't want to sit in uncomfortable chairs. The relaxed vibe is nice. Several items offered were out of this world. Would recommend to do it once.

Great design! Great atmosohere! Great food! I really enjoyed my experience there. I'm just glad that it was a "business dinner" because I would not have been able to afford as much as we ate and tasted!

Atmosphere: VERY loud and difficult to speak even to person next to me-Like being in a crowded cafeteria with ambient noise at high level and then music to fill in any quiet gaps. Always flurry of activity around you as dishes constantly being walked to each table. Wish they would address acoustics. Part of the fun is discussing each dish but in our party of 6, there was no group discussions to be had as you could hear only every other word from the person across from you. And I'm not oldNot that there's anything wrong with that :)
Food: Each dish was prepared with great aesthetic appeal and all very tasty. Only negative here is that my friend, while seated at the table, tried to order a cocktail that was not one of the 10 or so on the menu and she was refused even though it looked like the bar was pretty well stocked. She wasn't given a reason but I think it's because they can't veer from their timed schedules of serving. Its a busy place. Maybe they'd be more accommodating if seated at the bar???
Price: If you order cocktails and taste most dishes, plan on minimally $100/person. Bit of a shocker when you get the check. My party understood that when we looked at the menu but you lose track in the midst of the experience. Brilliant.
Staff: one wordEfficient. They get the job done and do it well but no warm and fuzzies.
Would I go back? My friend is more of a foodie and loves the place. She's been 3-4 times. I put more emphasis on the company I go out with so probably not. You just couldn't converse easily and my throat was a bit hoarse at the end of the night (kinda felt like I just left a concert). It was like a minor "event" to experience and I'm glad I did but will move on.
